The Moose, Twillingate Island

Relax and enjoy this 1860's heritage home filled with a mix of whimsical accents and modern features. Start your day at the cosy coffee bar watching the whales out the window or on the back deck. The Moose has a brand new country style kitchen for cooking and a comfortable living room. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms gives you lots of space for your group. After exploring everything Twillingate has to offer, you can end your evenings watching the gorgeous sunset!



The Space:

The Moose is a country style home on a tetris shaped property with a cute white fence. The front deck is spacious for relaxing outside. The back deck offers a little more privacy and views of the ocean. The living room has a couch and two chairs and a tv. The dining room has seating for 6. The kitchen cupboards and appliances are brand new with a large farmhouse sink. The coffee bar is a separate space with bar top and stools. The main floor bedroom is the Moose room. The two bedrooms upstairs are the Whale and the Starfish. All beds are queen size. Two full bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. A short walk up the lane and you can watch the sunset while sitting on a grassy hill.



Guest Access:

The whole house is yours. The basement is locked because it is unfinished and has very low ceilings.



The Neighborhood:

Crow Head is located on North Twillingate Island. Crow's Nest Cafe is a short walk up the road. A short drive further gets you to the Long Point Lighthouse with fantastic views of the ocean and whales if they are in the area. You can walk right from the Moose onto a 4 hour hiking trail. An 8 minute drive into Twillingate for boat tours, kayak tours, a dinner theatre, museums, restaurants and grocery stores. The Rockcut Trails can be accessed from various trail heads all over Twillingate and Crow Head and should be explored for their gorgeous views as well! Lots to see and do in Twillingate!



Getting Around:

Parking for two cars right in front of the house. Best way to get around Twillingate is by vehicle.



Other Things to Note:

The ceilings in the kitchen, coffee bar area and main floor bedroom are 6ft.

The upstairs bedrooms and bathroom also have 6ft ceilings.

The living room, dining room and main floor bathroom are regular height ceilings.

Cancellation Policy: Full refund if you cancel more than 5 days prior to check in. There is no refund if cancelled with 5 days or less until check in.
