A beautiful home in a lovely location full of wonderful amenities. We really enjoyed time both inside and outside the house. Evening fires on the dogtrot were our favorite. Clay and Angi were great hosts and easy to communicate with. They made us feel right at home! The beds were super comfy, and there was room enough for everyone without feeling like we were on top of each other. We would love to come back again, as the value for a stay of this caliber was excellent!

We loved our stay here so much. The home has such a unique layout that worked so well for multiple families. Spaces to be all together, but spaces for people to be on their own if they wanted. Beautiful lakeshore property with great views of the lake from many of the rooms and bedrooms. Our family of 14 people had plenty of space to spread out. Two primary suites, bunk room for the grandkids and 3 other bedrooms provided each couple some private space and quiet sleeping. Kitchen well appointed with amazing prep and serving countertops. Lower level hangout space large enough for our group. Only tricky thing was locking/ unlocking the entry doors— had to adjust handle while locking. Enjoyed spacious parking and great curb appeal.Enjoyed the lakeside yard and the hill down to the lake. Outdoor fire pit and hot tub on the listing were not working although that did not affect our plans. .

Clays house is a great space to spend a weekend with a large group of people. Communication was great anytime we had an issue. The house was clean and ready to use. I would stay again and recommend to anyone.

We stayed here with seven adults and four children. There was tons of space for us, which can’t fully be seen in the photos on the listing. The place is really really nice, a grand cabin feel like something you would experience in the mountains out west. We loved the stay, and I’d expect it’s even better in the summer. Close to bars, a brewery, coffee shops, and a market. Would recommend this place to large groups!

What a wonderful stay we had at this property with our adult children and grandchildren. The home and property were even better than advertised. The lake view is breathtaking from so many parts of the house and property. Easily facilitates comfortable time together and time for personal reflection. Our grandchildren loved the beach. HIGHLY recommend. We can't wait to stay again. .

The photos do not do this house justice. It easily accommodated 8 adults and 5 children ages 5-9. 6 bedrooms plus sleeping nook were very comfortable. The beach was wonderful for the children with plenty of space for adults to sit. Ox Lake is clear and calm- perfect for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding.

We enjoyed our stay immensely, a small family wedding, perfect weather, our own little private beach and lots of room to gather or have some quiet time in smaller groups. Clay and Anji (owners) are great communicators. We saw deer, a bald eagle pair and loved the serenades of several loons. We rented some kayaks from Crow Wing and loved being on a clear lake with minimal boat traffic. Highly recommend.!

The house was fantastic and set on a beautiful property on Ox Lake. Very quiet and relaxing location. Plenty of space for family and friends with the fireplace in the dog trot being a favorite spot at night to chat. Clay and Angi were wonderful to work with. They were incredibly responsive with clear instructions for optimizing our experience at their home. Highly recommend and hope to rent the house from Clay and Angi again in the near future.
