The hotel has been well decorated and has excellent facilities; one of the best I've stayed at this year. 2 issues: the breakfast at 32 Eu per person is excessively priced; the hotel could have sent directions before the stay as it is somewhat difficult to find by car and GPS."

"The room was very nice, friendly staff and the breakfast was wonderful. Location is excellent too. Our only complaint is the smell of the fish garbage from the adjoining restaurant that wafts into the hotel lobby. It’s not the hotel’s responsibility but they need to work out a solution with the restaurant owner or the hotel is likely to lose customers. "

"The hotel is in a superb position at the centre of Chatelaillon-Plage. Our Superieure room on the 2nd floor faced the sea and was quiet and comfortable. There is a large public car park about 300m away, or parking in adjacent streets. Parking is free outside July and August. Breakfast was good, with a range of bread, baked goods, savouries, etc., although the fresh fruit selection was uninspired. The carpet in our room was quite marked, but otherwise all was in good condition."

"What a perfect hotel!! Amazing location- close to the centre of Saint Martin. But so quiet and peaceful! Staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. They knew us by name on arrival. The hotel is old and beautiful. Thoroughly recommend and will return without a doubt!"

As a consequence of the cooker not working I had to pay for six of us to eat put all the time! And the food I bought from the supermarket to cook went off !! My daughter is visually impaired and fell down the steps because the lights were not working!! I contacted the manager on 10 different occasions and she did not get back to me . "Perfect place to stay to explore La Rochelle. In the heart of the old town and surrounded by restaurants, cafes and shops. A small supermarket is located nearly next door. Walking distance from the train station - less tha. 5 minute flat walk. Friendly staff, clean room with large comfortable bed. Good bathroom. Excellent breakfast available which we had both mornings. Only downside is there was no kettle in the room to be able to make a hot drink."

"I was travelling with two small dogs and a car full of stuff for my house rental. The hotel was safe and the garden was fabulous for the dogs. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful. I had a great room and the restaurant at the hotel was excellent. All in all it was a great overnight stay and I may very well go back there on my return. "
