This is a quirky (in the good sense) small hotel. In my experience of more than 40 years of travel, this is the most beautiful and most functional small hotel I have encountered. It is beautifully decorated... A good place to stay.

A great find!

Beautiful quirky little hotel, imaginative design, well organised room space. Comfortable bed, good breakfast and very friendly service. Only the shower was a bit awkward to use.

One night in La Rochelle.

We enjoyed the hotel; the staff were friendly and had a pleasant attitude. The room was clean, comfortable and we appreciated the tasteful and saucy decorations. The slight downside was having to carry our bags up and down 2 flights of stairs! Overall though we really like the hotel and the location is excellent.

Fascinating hotel.😍

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Excellent position for seeing La Rochelle. Interesting area good choice of eateries in area. Provision of ear plugs needed for some especially on a Saturday night. Downside is the taxi system deplored in the area La Rochelle but hotel managed to book one for us. Xx

Très bon choix pour une visite au centre de La Rochelle. Le personnel est super gentil, les chambres petites mais confortables et les petits déjeuners sont très bons, diversifiés et généreux. Il faut avoir une bonne forme pour se déplacer du stationnement à l’hôtel avec des bagages (pas de débarcadère ou de possibilité de taxi pour accès directement à l’hôtel) ainsi que pour le transport des bagages aux étages (pas d’ascenseur).

Chambre confortable mais bruyante

Hotel très cher pour la qualité (240 euros la nuit !). Bruyant le soir (rue des bars) mais passable grâce à des boules quies mises à disposition dans la chambre et aux rideaux qui atténuent le son. Salle de bain avec grosses taches d'humidité au plafond, moisissure sur les joints et bord du bac à douche. Télé vieille Points positifs : lit confortable et produits de toilettes fournis.

The room was small (a couple would have to negotiate who goes where when in moving about the room) but it was lovely and worked very well for me as a single traveller. I loved the art which really sweetened my visit to La Rochelle.

Enkelt men bra hotell.

Smidig incheckning, trots sen ankomst. Hjälpsam personal. Trevligt läge, nära allt nice, inte för mycket turister, inte för högljutt på kvällen. Kvarteret kändes lite mer ”konstnärligt” än resten av stan.
