Just minutes from nordic, hiking & biking trails & 4 parks.

Our neighborhood is special and unique because you have all the conveniences of being in town. We're within walking distance to everything in town. The downtown area, where all the restaurants and shops are located, is just a 5 minute walk. You can easily walk there or ride a "townie" bike without having to find parking or drive through the sometimes congested downtown. We're located directly across the street from the school's parking lot, playground, basketball hoops, and soccer field. If you have young children it`s perfectly located for playtime at 3 parks within a couple of blocks. The house is 1/2 block from the main town park and Center For The Arts, where the Alpenglow Summer Concert Series is held, and it's across the park from Clark's grocery store, Majestic Theater, Ace Hardware. It's minutes from the free and paid Nordic trails, rec path and summer swimming hole at the Slate River. Rainbow Park is a couple of blocks away. Access to numerous single-track hiking and biking trails is out the door! No need to drive if you don't want to.

Our street is the first you can turn on as you enter the town limits and see the welcome to Crested Butte sign. You`ll turn at the `chrome dragon and knight` landmark. This makes it very easy and quick to get to. You can then park your car for your entire stay if you`d like. In the summer, we provide `townie` bikes for you to get around on and the free local bus stop is just across the park at Clark's parking lot. This will take you to the mountain or downtown. Accessing the ski area couldn`t be easier and more convenient. The RTA bus stop is also just a few minutes walk to the 4way stop. The RTA takes you to Gunnison and back.

    The space

Our townhome is comfortable, clean, sunny and cozy. The high-end finishes, furniture, towels, and linens give it a refined but relaxed feeling. On the first floor, you're welcomed with a spacious entryway that is supplied with lots of hooks for hanging jackets, backpacks, walking sticks, etc. There are 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, and the washer/dryer on this entry level floor. The first-floor bedrooms each have a comfortable queen bed, and in 1 bedroom there is additional twin bed. The middle floor is where you'll find the spacious kitchen, living and dining areas. The open floor plan allows for great communication with everyone and plenty of elbow room. There are lots of south facing windows that allow the sun to shine in, making it bright, sunny and cozy. The spacious master bedroom is located on the third floor. It has a king bed, a twin bed, and a full bed and an ensuite bathroom. Being on the third floor, the master is close to everything but can offer a private getaway when needed.

    Bedroom arrangement:

    #1 - 3rd floor - master with bathroom - 1 King, 1 twin, 1 full

    #2 - 1st floor - shared bathroom - 1 Queen, 1 twin

    #3 - 1st floor - shared bathroom - 1 Queen

Our bed configuration offers a tremendous amount of flexibility for various sleeping arrangements to accommodate many scenarios...1 - 3 couples, 1 - 3 families, a large family, extended family, groups of friends!

We also have 2 other rentals 3 doors down on the same block. They have very similar layouts. Renting these together allows for a large group to be in very close proximity to each other. Great for weddings, family reunions, company parties, special events, etc.

There is a patio off the front of the house. It has a grill and offers a nice place for an afternoon or evening drink.

There are 2 off-street parking spaces provided. In the summer there is plenty of other street parking.

There is a Pack & Play crib, mattress & sheets, high chair available upon request.

We provide townie bikes for your use during your stay. This offers a convenient way to get to the grocery store or downtown.

    Other things to note:

Due to the nature of our rural destination, I have a strict cancellation policy so I suggest you purchase trip insurance to cover yourself in life changes.

WiFi can be affected by the snow in the winter and the number of people in town in the summer and busy times. Please be patient and remember where you are!

I live 1 block away, so I`m readily available to help as needed. I`m happy to assist guests in any way I can to help make their stay most enjoyable!

Property was amazing, exactly as described, would definitely stay with Sarah again. She was very accommodating, we asked if she had a step stool in property for one of our little guests to reach the sink to wash hands and she made a special trip over and brought one to us. She was there to answer any questions. Property was beautiful and had everything we needed, great walking distance to downtown and park for kids to play. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Crested Butte. And cleaner than other places we have stayed in so that was an extra plus as well!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was beautiful and very clean, plenty of room for our group of 8. The location is perfect, walking distance to town and just a short walk to the bus stop to take you to the ski resort. Would highly recommend!

Visit Like A Local

I love to travel like a local and I felt like we were one in this neighborhood. Large soccer field and playground across the street from the home which was great for our family. Fun walk to Elk Street and 5 minute drive to the mountain. The house was very comfortable, clean (hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes in entry) and a well stocked kitchen (one of the better kitchens I've had in a short term rental). Great beds, pillows, linens and towels. And the host was so lovely and communicative. Thank you, Sarah!
