Welcome to the Crested Butte Retreat! Our beautifully remodeled home is located in the most convenient location right in town. During your stay you'll enjoy the charm of a Historic home, but with the modern amenities you'd expect from a fully renovated luxury vacation rental.

Our home has a bunch of amenities that other homes lack: A brand new Hot Tub, A steam shower, 400MBPS High Speed Internet, every streaming service (Netflix, HBO, DirectTV), Nest thermostat with built in central humidifier system, and the most lovely interior design that you’ll find in town. We've designed our home with guests in mind.

You'll appreciate the architectural details of reclaimed post and beam construction, high vaulted aspen tree ceilings, and reclaimed heart of pine wood floors. And when the weather is chilly, cozy up the fireplace in the living room.

The spacious gourmet kitchen will make preparing meals a joy. Outfitted with a SubZero fridge/freezer, Thermador gas stove/oven, Vitamix blender, and top of the line cookware and appliances. The large farmhouse sink is surrounded by local, hand cut sandstone countertops and custom cabinetry. The dining area has a large farm style table which seats 8 people comfortably.

After a day of adventuring in the mountains, relax in the the Hot Tub on the back porch. With comfortable seating for 4-5 people, it’s a perfect place to stretch out and enjoy views of Red Lady or stargazing on most clear nights. Other guests will enjoy the master bathroom steam shower! Another great way to relax after a day in the mountains or a relaxing way to wake up in the morning.

Let Coal Creek lull you to sleep in the front upstairs bedroom, while views of Mount Crested Butte fill the windows of the third bedroom upstairs. A very unique full bathroom in true mountain decor is located upstairs between the 2 upstairs bedrooms.

A full size washer and dryer, brand new full bath, and setup for a queen floor mattress are adjacent to the kitchen. A private patio with deck furniture is a great place for breakfast in the warm months. The home is fully furnished and equipped for up to 8 people, with professional cleanings scheduled between all guests. Guests will have complete privacy and full access to the entire home during their stay.

Perfect location in Crested Butte

Our stay at this home was wonderful. You absolutely cannot beat the location...just steps to Elk avenue. The home was clean and very well stocked. We will definitely be back!

I enjoyed a 4 night stay at this property with family and friends, and would stay again. The home is in a perfect location to enjoy the shops along Elk Ave. while also being central to great all around trail access. Adam is a great host - very helpful and responsive.

Location!

Having visited CB several times before, this was by far my best stay! The location is amazing, just steps away from Elk Ave, and the home is perfect. Adam was extremely great to work with, very easy to communicate with, and flexible about checking in/out to fit our travel needs.

Skiing in Crested Butte

This is an excellent property that is very well located right off Elk Ave. next to the ski shuttle. The house was wonderful, clean, and well appointed. The property manager was top-notch and super responsive/helpful. I definitely would book this property again.

Great location and great host!

If you want proximity to Elk, it doesn't get any better than this. Adam was a very responsive host and seems to actually care about the guest experience. He's rehabbed much of the house, especially the kitchen and master (steam shower in master bath is a nice treat). Adam is one of the most conscientious owners I've experienced.

LOCATION sums it up!

My family and I stayed in this comfortable and roomy cottage for our Spring Break. It was our first visit to Crested Butte and we found the LOCATION to be perfect! Bus stop to the ski area is right out the front door! For non-skiers, with Elk Ave. also steps away, shopping, dining and other entertainment was very convenient. We loved the accommodations: roomy bedrooms, plenty of seating in living room, well-equipped kitchen and laundry room provided all we needed. Adam responded almost immediately to every question/request and we felt well cared for! We'd definitely choose this property again!!

Adam's home is stunning, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The house is perfect for families as there is more than enough room for everyone to have their own space. The location is beyond perfect. The home is situated on a beautiful mountain water creek, one block from the center of downtown. The creek is extremely tranquil when you open your windows late at night. Adam was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly with thorough answers. Make sure to use the steam shower and hot tub - highly recommend!

Perfect Location!

We loved this home--it was perfectly located to everything you want to visit on Elk Ave--literally everything is walking distance--restaurants, shopping, bars. It has all the amenities for a comfortable stay for a group of 6-8. The 3 full bathrooms is a plus many other properties in the area do not have--and the interior has a great amount of charm. Adam is a wonderful host and communicated quickly with suggestions. A stream that runs through town is right next to the house. There is a restaurant close to the house so you can hear some of the people when the windows are open--but that did not distract from our stay. Honestly we would not have wanted to be in any other location after taking time to tour the town. The hot tub is a plus and having the garage space to keep gear is a really nice amenity as well...we wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect in-town location

The house is a great place to stay for great access to restaurants and shops in town. We walked 50 yards to the farmers market on Elk! Adam checked in with us via text to make sure that everything was going well. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking and the living space is cozy and comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub on the patio and it was nice to have the garage for extra storage. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra linens, towels, pillows, fans, a fold out mattress available. The bathrooms were nice and the loft area was a good additional space to have for sleeping. The house doesn’t have AC, which isn’t a problem as the weather is great in the summer and we enjoyed sleeping with the windows open at night. We noticed a few missing screens and areas where the blinds could offer more privacy as the home has nearby foot traffic so it can be easy to see in. We were a little concerned that being so close to Elk and restaurants would be noisy at night, but it was not a problem at all. There isn’t private parking for the home but during the time we were there in August it was relatively easy to find street parking very close to the home. The property shares a fence with Coal Creek Grill, which is a great restaurant and there’s a cute homemade ice cream shop across the street. Most restaurants in town are 10 minute walk (or less!). The house has a single step to get in the front door and there is a step down to access both bathrooms on the first Floor. The master bed and loft are on the first floor, while the third bathroom and both guest rooms are on the second floor. We enjoyed our stay in this home and you can’t ask for a better location in town!

We LOVED this house

We loved everything about this house. The location was AMAZING to say the least - about a 30 second walk to the shuttle bus to the mountain and steps away from some of Crested Butte's best restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable. Adam was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Highly recommend this listing!

Amazing Family Ski Vacation

The house is absolutely perfect. Our four kids in their twenties (including 2 girlfriends) stayed with us, and the home was exactly as advertised. Great restaurants and bars are 20 feet away, and the shuttle to the mountain is literally across the street. Adam, the host was responsive, friendly, and very helpful. We’ve have many super family vacatuons and this was one of our favorites!

Great house, great location!

This was the perfect house for our family and a couple of the kids’ friends!
