Staff were excellent but this property needs lots of tlc. It really needs a lick of paint and new carpet throughout. We slept well though and it was just for one night but I would have loved an extra pillow or two. Great outdoor pool with chairs to relax.

The room was run down. Our room had no security door latch, bathroom towel bars and hooks were broken off, gone or broke when we went to use them. When i notified the manager he fixed it immediately. He was very friendly and we LOVED Penny his dog! Property had a loud individual the first night but the manager looked after it so it was quiet the rest of the time. Beds were comfortable and we could walk to.downtown from the motel.
We were looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub after a long days drive. You can imagine our disappointment when we arrived and the tub was not working and looked to have been closed for some time.
Several amenities in the room were not functional including the bathroom plug and the microwave.
On the positive side the bed was very good and the staff were very nice.

The bathroom in our room desperately needs a new shower curtain. It was filthy and should have been thrown out a long time ago. The bed had a funny dip at the head so it was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise I think it was clean enough. Not sure it was worth $220 a night but that’s summer pricing for you.
The front door of the motel needs a good cleaning, it was also filthy and black. The pool looked a bit dirty and didn’t see anyone using it.
The flower planters were pretty and made the property look great. It was quiet so that was nice.
Staff were kind and made sure I was able to access my room after hours.
The back door is open 24/7 so anyone can access the property and come right to your door, similar to a motel.
The sheets and towels were clean, and NO bedbugs - I checked.
The room itself is old and dated. The room seemed dirty, especially the bathroom but I couldn’t tell if it was just stained or dirty.
The shower curtain was stained, the curtains were faded in areas but perhaps from heater below.
Door was not super secure.
I wasn’t expecting a lot honestly knowing the property was a little dated but was pleasantly surprised. Staff was awesome everything was comfortable and very clean. I would highly recommend

Good place to stay, nice hot tub inside and pool table (not indoor pool lol) outdoor pool would be fun in the summer.
Spacious room (double queen) and clean arrival.
Thanks!
The property is run by wonderful people. All very friendly and accommodating. We were on 2nd floor which is older but clean. Layout of suites was awesome for our adult family group. Kitchenettes very functional. Only suggestion is that they need more light in the rooms. Great value for the money.
The motel is right by the main road so it is quite noisy during the day. However, it completely quieted down at night so we had a great sleep. Blankets, coverlets and pillows, everything looked brand new. You can see some things that show the hotels age but what needs to be modern is. The host was a lovely, helpful man and he has the cutest little dog, which was friendly but didn't chase you around for attention. If needed, we'd stay there again.
overall, good experience, very friendly and helpful staff... the hottub is also very good to relax after your whole day ski... they have a common kitchen which has everything u need. I stayed in the 2-bedroom suite with full kitchen is also quite spacious... the location is center of the fernie town and easy access to everything.. (Grocery, souvenir shops, restuarant etc..)
just 2 things... the room is not very clean especially the floor inside the room. and the cost of laundry (CAD$5) and drying (CAD$5) is a bit more expensive than the outside.
otherwise, it is a good
