"A basic room, but very clean and maintained. However, there was a problem with the shower having no facilities for putting in shampoo, soap, etc., and only one cake of soap was provided for a two-night stay. Also, we booked and paid for a deluxe, downstairs room, but were upstairs, which made it very difficult for my wife, who has mobility problems. The stairwell closest to the restaurant did not have a working light, which was a problem once the night arrived"

Bed heaters, soft floors, firepit supplies, Real coffee! I booked as a surprise for my camping husband who instantly fell in love and enjoyed every second of it! "Our cabin was spotless, comfortable, and spacious, and the wood fireplace efficiently heated the room. The bathroom is also generously proportioned with a corner spa bath. The wet area at the entry is a sensible addition. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff at every opportunity, and we even indulged in a hot rock massage at the Waldheim Spa, which was a very luxurious experience."

"We stayed in one of the new looking units for two nights. Outside was cold, windy and raining. In the unit it was toasty warm with a great gas fireplace. Easy parking. Unit ED9 was a great place to stay. A couple of things to know: There is no WiFi in the unit but the cell signal was strong. The water in the faucets is not drinkable without first boiling. I wish I knew that before arriving as I would have bought more drinking water. There is not much in the way of groceries around so bring food. The restaurant next door is good but make reservations in advance."
