"Lovely boutique hotel with a personal touch We enjoyed our stay at Atoq San Blas. It’s a lovely small boutique hotel with great rooms, and the bathrooms were good overall. The location was convenient, with a laundromat and pharmacy nearby. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, even before we arrived. The thoughtful little welcome note and cookies were a lovely touch and made the experience feel very personal. One area for improvement would be the towels. Although they were clean and fresh, the white towels looked a little dingy and would benefit from being replaced. Overall, a pleasant stay, made especially enjoyable by the warm hospitality and thoughtful touches."

Be aware of the significant uphill walk from historic area, however it's very easy and inexpensive to get taxi or rideshare if tired. Front desk staff were not welcoming and did not explain anything about the hotel. Room service food was delicious and those staff were very kind. The room was kept in great condition by Lenin - much appreciated."
