  • Hudd's road (access to Yurara) is a gravel road (please see current photo) and is regularly maintained by the Douglas Shire Council.
    Hudd's Rd currently requires an AWD or 4WD.

    A stylish post and beam house built by hand, from sustainable timbers; not merely a wonderful place sitting high on the hill with Ocean views – but an experience, a real taste of life in a tropical national park that many of our overseas friends tell us they’ve always been searching for, but never previously found. “A little piece of rainforest heaven, with simply stunning views, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Daintree National Park, a true treasure.”
    Yurara originally attracted us because of its absolutely amazing views right out across the breathtaking rainforest valley to the Coral Sea. Our superb decks, and Luxury Spa Bath for Two, provide charming vantage points where you can enjoy the outstanding Views.
    We offer you a place to relax and take a break, away from the crowds but not totally cut off, we do have free Wi-fi and a Smart TV for those who want to stay in touch with the outside world.

Beautiful

A wonderful house nestled amongst the rainforest. Well set up, clean and very few insects. Amazing views. When we arrived late at night the lights weren’t working but Dean came by the next morning and fixed the circuit breaker.
