"The location of the cabin is perfect for hiking along the dunes. The cabin was very clean and the fire pit outside was wonderful. The only thing that I would recommend and let others know is the the sofa bed is really not meant for adults. The mattress is very thin and uncomfortable. We had six adults and could have slept 4 of us in the room with the double bed and bunks but really didn’t want a bunk bed. Anyway, perfect house for maybe 4 adults and a few children."

"This lovely log cabin was exactly what my friends and I were looking for - 6 of us fit comfortably and yet were quite cozy for our board game get-away weekend. We particularly enjoyed the roomy, recently re-done lower floor with a convenient bathroom and extra sleeping options. The hot tub was a real treat also! The property was easy to get too, yet felt very tucked away. Kelly was an excellent host, responding to a few of the questions we had extremely quickly and helpfully. I fully recommend this spot for anyone looking for a conveniently located Michigan Cabin getaway!"

"This was a wonderful place to stay especially for a large group. We had Friendsgiving here and because each cabin has a full kitchen it made preparing all the food so much easier. The cabins were also great for some of our guest who had different schedule like went to bed earlier. It was clean and tastefully decorated. The common area was wonderful and we spent much of our time there. When we left a pair of shoes were left behind and they sent them out to use right away. I would recommend this place to anyone who is planning a trip. "

"First off let me just say the people i rented from where super nice and responded to my messages immediately. My main problem was soon as i walked into the house all i can smell was dog. I had to go buy candles and air fresheners amd still could smell the dog. House felt like the people lived there on a daily basis except for when the had a renter. Also water had a rotten egg smell like well water which i wasnt told about. Honestly i wasnt happy paying 800 for smell of dog for 2 days. Even our cloths smelled like it as if we were playing with a dog for 2 days. Also there was a dirty wash rag hanging from shower curtain yuck! Other than that its very close to lake michigan beach is only 3 min drive from house. Beautiful view of stars in sky at night. And again people were super nice."

"Absolutely exceptional. Wendy and John have a magical property that provides a peaceful getaway with everything you may need for a perfect vacation. Everything from the property, beach access, wood fire pizza oven and puppet theater just blew us away. We will be back for another visit!! "

"The location and proximity to the lake beach were awesome. The house is becoming dated, not ideal for two couples because the second bedroom is up a very steep set of stairs, and only has a half-bath upstairs. The bedrooms are small. The main "great room" is small and open to the loft upstairs that has two beds - not exactly private. The furniture is dated and kitchen with average stock. No dishwasher. The check-in, communication from the management company and access to the property was great. In my opinion, this property is best suited for a small family with young children seeking a beach house experience, with less comfort.We enjoyed the beach, the peace and quiet and our time on the deck. The view of the sunset through the trees is great, but we had to wash the windows."
