"Nice and clean space. It feels more like a small apartment than a hotel room, and it was very quiet, with none of the noisy hotel AC you often get. A great surprise was breakfast at their restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with mostly local and organic ingredients. We also received a credit toward our restaurant bill because we were staying at the hotel, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a very comfortable stay and a great surprise."

"I traveled with my two 14 yo grandkids. We all loved the pool. The beds were comfortable. I was concerned about noise from people above us but they quieted down early and the air conditioner helped with white noise. The kitchen was very useful. Since we'd been driving all day it was nice to just heat up some food and not have to go anywhere."

"Avril and Kenneth's cottage was the perfect setting for our family's getaway! They welcomed us with bottle of wine and basket of snacks. The kitchen was very well stocked. The layout was perfect for us, kids upstairs, adults downstairs, and plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The enclosed porch was perfect as was the outside fire pit. We didn't use the firepit as it was stinking HOT and a smokey from the wildfires, but the glider chairs were a big hit!The walk to the lake was easy and they had a wagon for all of our gear.Avril's communication throughout our stay was stellar. She touched base with us when the power went out during one of the most spectacular thunder and lightening storms I have ever seen.Would definitely recommend!"
