"We stayed in the main hotel so can't comment on the apartments. The hotel is a low rise 4 storey building, spotlessly clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything in our room worked well with good water pressure and hot water supply. The room was also large and airy with effective AC. The beds were very supportive and comfortable and the windows kept any evening entertainment noise out. The range of food in the restaurant at dinner was really good. They do a different theme each night and really make an effort to provide variety. Breakfast is also very good with a wide range of hot and cold offerings. The outdoor pool is large and well maintained, as is the whole pool area which is cleaned regularly throughout the day. Activities, if you wish to participate, run all through the day. The hotel is mid-80s I guess so some things show this e.g. a bidet, a shower curtain for a shower over the bath. I think it is undergoing a continuous refresh so the occasional old fashioned style did not present any problems. Points to note: The main restaurant can become busy in the middle of the dinner serving window so there can be a short wait to get a table at peak times. There is a shuttle bus which runs to the beach as the hotel is at the top of a very steep and long hill. (We had a rental car so did not need to use this service.) Overall a very good hotel which makes up through excellent service what it lacks in the latest decor!"

"Really fabulous stay at Villa Calma! Lovely villa and view, and we had a wonderful time. When we first arrived the hob and oven weren't working, but this was fixed within 24 hours. Irene was was an amazing host, and very responsive. Our kids had a great time in the pool, and Son Bou was a great base from which to explore the island. We loved hiking on the Cami de Cavalls, and the beaches along the west cost were gorgeous."
