Nice and quiet stay at Moulin

although we only stayed for 2 nights, the moulin is a beautiful place to enjoy the calmness and beauty of the French countryside. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms are as advertised. ideal for a big group of adults. Patricia was very attentive and helped us in any way necessary. Wish we could have stayed for longer.

Heavenly spot

We loved the Mill. It is very large with lots of character on a beautiful property.!Patricia was a great host. We enjoyed doing day trips from there, and returning to our peaceful place. Would definitely like to stay here again. Merci Patricia and Phillipe

Amazing

We loved the property. Although it’s old in a goed way, it was also very clean. We loved the outdoor areas too. You do have to drive a bit to buy your bread but it’s worth it. Details we loved: there was a bottle of good white wine offered to us, if we had a question, like “where can we buy some good wine”, we got their personal list of vineyards and when we ware all admiring the water wheel, the owner took the effort of removing the top cover so we could enjoy the wheel turning. Lovely people! Also, there was firewood waiting in the fireplace, ready to go and there was charcoal available for the bbq. We hope to visit again.

Beautiful and special property

We were all buzzing around with excitement at this property when we arrived. The kids thought it was incredible! It's such an old building, full of history and not spoiled in its renovation, it was still so characterful. The kids loved that we restricted the flow of the water at night to quieten it down, and then released it every morning - we got lucky as the water wheel does not always turn but we got some movement out of it! The house is rustic, and not full of mod-cons, but it had pretty much everything we needed. The outside eating area was lovely for bbqs, and the garden lovely and big for games. The house has a lovely mezzanine library level at the top that the kids enjoyed relaxing in. We really enjoyed visiting Guedelon, a castle that is being built from scratch in medieval style, using only crafts and skills from that period in history, it was truly a fabulous day out. Lovely villages to visit in the area are Vezelay, a very pretty and ancient village up on a hilltop, and we also loved Druyes-les-Belles-Fontaines with its castle overlooking the village with the river and waterways routed all through the streets. So pretty. It's a drive to a shop or Patisserie from the house and unfortunately the patisserie was shut for the week we were there, but the supermarket in Varzy had everything we needed. We also visited Clemecy a couple of times to explore the shops and old buildings, and watch the boats going through the canal locks. Thank you for a wonderful week.

Es ist eine wunderschöne alte Mühle mit schönen Zimmern, großem Garten und Mühlbach direkt neben dem Haus. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben.

Wir waren insgesamt 13 Personen . Alter 15-84 Jshre, abwechseln anwesend und tageweise zu Besuch in Gudelon. Wir waren hier auf einer wunderbaren Zeitreise.küche, Ausstattung und ess-Plätze können nicht besser sein.Wunderbar der vertrauenswerte Vorrat an Gewürzen , die einksufsmöglichkeiten ermutigen bisher unerkannte kreative Köche. Herzlichen Dank der sehr aufmerksamen und perfekten Gastgeberin Patricia Gilles. Wir kamen aus Deutschland, Österreich und Ungarn und fuhren von hier aus über die Schweiz zum Neusiedler See, nach Aachen (D) Karlsruhe (D), Ferien Bretagne weiter und nach Marseille, unvergesslich!

Le bonheur! Un moulin magnifique, des hôtes charmants tout était réuni pour que notre séjour soit parfait. Tout a été pensé pour que rien ne vous manque, la cuisine est très bien équipée, les chambres agréables avec en prime le bruit de l'eau du moulin. Le parc est très beau, nous avons passé d'agréables moments sur la terrasse au bord de l'eau. Merci beaucoup.

Joli cadre très calme.

De la place pour se restaurer et dormir. Le seul reproche est au niveau sanitaire et salle de bain. Des douches seraient vraiment un plus surtout pour des personnes qui avancent en âge. Sinon une belle région à découvrir. Guédelon tout près.

authentique moulin, vintage à souhait

petit week-end entre amis, à 1 heure de Sancerre, 3/4 d'heure de Guédelon. l'endroit est calme, seule la chute d'eau bercera vos nuits. le logement est fonctionnel, bien équipé. l'accueil par les propriétaires a été trés sympathique.

Kulturreise

Wir haben mit insgesamt 10 Leuten in der wunderschönen Mühle übernachtet. Das Hauptziel war Guedelon. Aber wenn man 1 Stunde Fahrtzeit in Kauf nimmt, kann man viele historische Städte besichtigen. Die Zimmer der Mühle waren liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Wohnzimmer ist mit einem Kamin ausgestattet. Der Garten war groß und mit einer schönen Sitzgruppe ausgestattet. Diese Mühle hat Charme und alles, was man braucht. Der einzige winzige Mangel sind die eher beiden kleinen Toiletten. Die Vermieterin war super nett und die Kommunikation mit Übersetzer gar kein Problem und reibungslos. Vielen Dank dafür.

Excellent séjour au moulin !

Super vacances au moulin. Cadre magnifique propreté irréprochable. Nous avons profité au maximum de ce moulin de charme parfaitement entretenu aussi bien a l intérieur que les espaces communs. Tout y est fait pour se sentir bien et se détendre. Merci encore pour la communication avant et pendant notre semaine ainsi que l accueil des propriétaires. Week end réussi

Le site de la location est très agréable, l'accueil est chaleureux, le logement est atypique en plus d'être fonctionnel. Tout a été réunis pour que nous passions un très bon Week end. Beaucoup de chose à voir et à visiter aux alentours (30min à 1heure de route).

Un séjour dans un endroit idyllique !

Très joli moulin, très bien équipé, avec un jardin au bord de l'eau tout à fait bucolique. Calme absolu. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet endroit presque hors du temps.
