The Waring House

"Our room was clean as was the building. Very nice grounds. Lot’s of parking. The staff was very good and friendly. The food in the pub and dining room was good but not great. It was well located near Picton off a major rotary, so accessible from all directions. We were in one of four rooms located on the second floor of the older original part of the Inn which was very quaint. Even though we were above the pub and dining room, there were no issues. The one negative was the old window air conditioner that was tired and noisy. The four window units in these rooms should be replaced with a thermo-pump and four ceiling units. $$ I know, but that would make a huge difference."

"Huge place, less expensive than Cribs on Main. Pleasant 10 minute walk to Picton shops and restaurants through calm residential area. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked well equipped. Parking in back was fine. One traveller goes out to car through patio door, other traveller has to stay inside to lock patio door then go out through the front door and get picked up there. Not a problem, but could be awkward if you need to leave and you are on your own. Host very quick to respond. A great short vacation in a lovely part of Ontario."

"We enjoyed our stay at Huff Estates. It was comfortable however could do with a few room upgrades. The breakfast was great - good selection. It would be good to have a coffee machine in the rooms. We enjoyed a nice pizza dinner from the winery as well as the complimentary wine tasting. Overall a good stay."
