"There are basic hotels and then there is the Regency. The property is rundown and barely maintained. The tone was set as I pulled up to the property and the lighted sign on the building was flickering. The main lobby smelled of weed. The common areas look like they haven’t been painted in years. Inside the room there were patches on the drywall that were not painted. There were only 2 working outlets and there was grout missing all over the bathroom. I don’t know which room they took the pictures of for the website but I was definitely not staying in that room. There also were large gaps in the curtains that allowed the obnoxiously bright streetlights to shine into the room"

"Property is old - door to room was very difficult to open (wife incapable of) still have bruises on hands from forcing it. When maintenance informed they just said push hard. Also despite being told of light bulb being out on tueday - still out when left friday."

The house was spotless, spacious, and perfectly suited for our family during our son’s University of Richmond graduation weekend.There were walking paths just a short distance away, and the neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay."

"We booked three rooms. Upon arrival, one room was fine; the air conditioning in one room didn’t work, and the door to the third room was unlocked and open with the room smelling like marijuana. The manager was unable to move into other rooms or another best western property, so we booked rooms at the embassy suites across the parking lot and checked out. Lots of hassle and stress on college graduation weekend!"

"A truly wonderful stay. The property is well-maintained and clean, with modern rooms and exceptionally comfortable beds (the variety of pillows was a great touch!). The 7th-floor lounge was a highlight, made even better by the attentive staff who truly made us feel welcome. I loved the location—tucked away in a quiet, wooded area but still offering easy access to downtown. We’ll definitely be back!"
