"The Tiki Hut at Mt. Dora is the most lovely hidden gem! Cozy, clean, and with a calming atmosphere inside and out, we had no problems relaxing before the Mt. Dora Half-Marathon. There were plenty of amenities and supplies of every kind, and beautiful tiki-hut themed decor everywhere you look. The backyard was phenomenally spacious as well, with incredible opportunities for beautiful photos or moments with wonderful company. A key point too is that it's within walking distance of downtown, which is SUCH a life-saver in a small-town with limited parking on a crowded holiday weekend night! "

"Donna was awesome with communicating in a prompt manner, especially when we were trying to find a place that would allow our two dogs. We were thoroughly surprised by the Mr. Dora area! The downtown area had pickleball courts, boutiques, small business restaurants, and a nice view of the water if you are looking for a waterfront run or view of the sunrise/sunset. The backyard was big enough for two dogs and you can tell she had put a lot of effort in making it a welcoming environment. The drive to Universal was an hour to us, but it was worth being away from the big city. I would return if I am in the area again. "

"The grounds were being redone so there were materials scattered about. No big deal at all. The place is amazing. I spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch. It was very nice. I'll stay here again. "

"Very clean and quiet/private. Had everything you would need for an overnight stay (great coffee! With creamer and sweetener there too!). Host very responsive to texts, even letting me know right when the cleaning crew was done in case we needed to check in a little sooner. Thank you for a great place to stay while visiting my sweet town I grew up in. "

"House was nice roomy wish there were better instructions on use of tv and some lighting but was clean and had everything pretty close to downtown beds were comfortable yard and area was dry outside great parking. Would stay again overall was great time "
