"We really enjoyed our stay here. Very comfy rooms in an extremely peaceful location.
Our host was very friendly and courteous throughout and showed a genuine interest in helping us have an enjoyable weekend."
"All the staff were very friendly and everywhere was clean and tidy.
If you were later than 09.00 am for breakfast, the choice was not so good than if you had turned up earlier, that was our feeling. The Saturday evening meal was not totally satisfactory because there was not enough staff and we booked a table at 20.30 but did not eat until 21.45. The server did his best but was over powered with the demands of trying to keep up with the orders. Maybe the kitchen staff were understaffed as well.
On Sunday morning breakfast we heard staff saying we have no more cutlery left .
If Saturday night is the busiest dining night, then adequate staff should be available.
We were very tolerant and could have made a big fuss and refused to pay for the service we received, however we felt sorry for the person involved who was trying to cope under difficult circumstances "
"Amazing gem hidden in the country. Very comfortable rooms, relaxing, fun atmosphere in restaurants and bar with delicious food. We weren’t traveling with children, but there were amazing play areas, indoor and outdoor for children."
"Fantastic stay! Beautiful spacious room with incredible view. The wine tasting was a lovely experience- the ambiance and food in the restaurant was sublime - great service from the moment we checked in - we will return. "
Modern, private, home from home with amazing views and great hiking trails
10/10 Excellent
"The space was perfect and Laura was a brilliant host. The kids loved having access to the swing and the trampoline as well as the chicken and the dogs. It was exactly what we needed. Thanks so much."
