Bed and Breakfast in Cotes de Beaune

"Very friendly and pleased to help. Great food. We should have asked for a room change as we had a screaming child in the next room. We were given an interconnecting room so sadly heard the family trying to put a very noisy child to sleep. It’s not the families fault, we were just tired from a long drive, as a result we did not request a different room. Despite this negative, I can recommend this hotel. It was very clean, comfy bed and good food. "

"Beaune is a charming small village/town. Maison 1896 was amazing! They took care of unloading your luggage & parking your car for you. Charming bar/lounge area for an afternoon drink or pre dinner. Their restaurant 'The Slanted Door' had an excellent Asian menu and the food was so outstanding we ordered seconds of two of their main dishes. Rooms were well appointed, beds comfortable and bathrooms sparkled. We had a room with a little balcony that overlooked some of the shops and a church clock - delightful - great for early morning coffee. The rooms were quiet - front desk very accomodating and helpful. Any return trip we make to Beaune we will definitely stay at Maison 1896. We had 3 rooms booked for our party of four and our guests were just as pleased with the accomodations as we were. They deserve a 5 out of 5 star rating!"

"Perfectly positioned for shopping eating and sightseeing around Dijon. Secure parking at the hotel was only €10 a night. Breakfast well worth the extra. Large continental breakfast choice plus eggs and sausages. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Bed very comfy. 5 minutes walk and you are at a lovely square with many bars and restaurants. 10 minutes and you are at the start of the Owl walking trail for Dijon. "
