Very convenient hotel in the Gothic Quarter right next to Las Ramblas on a pedestrian only street. The rooms were large and comfortable with good air conditioning on a very hot day. The staff was very accommodating and worked with us to make sure we were all settled in (we had 7 rooms). The property itself is accessible and worked very well for the one guest who had a wheelchair. The breakfast was also very good and well laid out. I'd definitely recommend the hotel for comfort, convenience, and staff friendliness.

Ohla Barcelona was an ideal location for our trip as many places were accessible on foot by a short cab ride. The hotel was very clean, the front lobby, hotel service and dining room staff were helpful, accommodating, pleasant to deal with and very responsive. We found the breakfast offerings had various options that suited our needs. The room was adequate but the bed was a little too hard for our liking (which by the way is our only suggested improvement). The rooftop, during the daytime, was an excellent option for relaxing and downtime. It seems that the rooftop service staff may wish for you to make drink or food purchases - if this is the case, just be upfront with them if you want to decline their service. Overall, highly recommended for location, convenience, service and experience. It may be a little pricier, but we found value in this choice. We enjoyed our stay at Ohla. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean. It was close to shopping and great restaurants. They were helpful with our airport drivers, and helped us with pickup and departing schedules. The sushi restaurant was so wonderful we ate there twice. It was a very relaxing and clean property.

Large scale works outside the hotel were noisy and noticeable on floor 5
