"Loved my experience with the hotel. Got in late. They took my passport and handed me a key. I arrived late and looked tired. Next morning breakfast had ended sooner than anticipated but the staff quickly offered to let me take from the buffet and sit down. Giordano(the chef) got wind of what had happened and stepped in to make cappuccinos and a cheese platters and offered lots of advice on the area and the areas I would be visiting. "The language barrier was definitely an issue. We were greeted in the street by the off-site host who was upset that we were planning to check out early even though we said we were paying for the extra night and despite the fact that we had emailed June 22nd that we had to shorten our stay. This is not a typical B & B. It consists of 4 rooms and a shared kitchenette on the same floor as 2 private apartments in a multi-story building above the pedestrian area. No blow dryer or iron is provided....
