Beautiful house, fantastic location and very responsive host! My husband, myself and our 24 year old daughter were visiting the Cortez area, mostly to see Mesa Verde. I thought we'd just stay one or two nights in the area, but once I found this property, we booked 5 nights! The hiking out the back gate is amazing (just go early if you're there in the summer - that sun is intense) and the drive to Mesa Verde is short. We enjoyed sitting on both porches birdwatching and just gazing at the scenery. The winery practically across the street is a bonus - delicious wines and gorgeous setting. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is big, beautiful, super clean, and has so many nice little extras—yoga mats, books, hiking, and tons of natural light. It honestly has everything you’d ever need in a home (and then some!). Such a comfortable and welcoming place, we’d definitely stay again. It is a bit of trip from town, but that is part of its charm as you can view the Canyons of the Ancients National Monument from the backyard!

This property was very special. It is out of the way with direct access to Canyon of the Ancients NM. The house is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and functional. The hosts were accommodating. The views are spectacular. The water needs getting used to though (alkaline?) but a RO filter in the kitchen helps.

This was such a quiet, peaceful place to experience the 4 corners area. We enjoyed hiking, horseback riding, and star gazing all within a few miles or on the property. The huge living space and spacious bedrooms were our sanctuary for the week. We took advantage of the yoga mats and loved drinking coffee by the gas stove while watching the sun rise over the mountains every morning. The kitchen was fully stocked with any utensil or dish one could need. There was very little we could have asked for differently. David responded very quickly to an ask on the first morning and helped us get the gas stove lit to enjoy the rest of the stay. He is definitely very thorough, thoughtful and meticulous! Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your property with our family.
