"Lovely heritage hotel in the city centre close to the best city amenities. But AVOID ROOM 121 at all costs, very loud ventilation/services running beside/under the room that will ruin your sleep."

"We stayed at the hotel for a family occasion. We tried to check in at 1:30pm, room wasn't ready, reception didn't ask if we wanted to leave luggage. When we got to our room the accommodation was basic and clean. The breakfast was good the next morning, staff could have friendlier and more attentive. We went to the Leisure Centre, the pool area is absolutely filthy, tiles hanging off the walls. The Jacuzzi was dirty and had a really bad smell off the water. The sauna and steam room need a full refurb "
