"We celebrated our wedding anniversary here, staying in the Peacock Room. The house is gorgeous with beautiful things to look at and sumptuous nooks to pause in. We had a some time to walk around in the morning and enjoy the peaceful grounds as well. Our hostess was so kind, and the breakfast was an epic and auspicious way to start the day. Just a few minutes away, we ate dinner at Train to Mumbai - such good food we ordered dishes to take away and enjoy further along our travel. I sincerely hope we have the chance to visit again next year."

The house offered plenty of space for everyone to spread out comfortably, and the layout worked great for both quiet time and group gatherings.The large yard was a favorite — perfect for yard games and relaxing- as long as we limited it to mornings and evenings as July is hot in VA :). We even spotted deer a few times, which added a magical touch to our stay.When something unexpectedly broke on the 4th of July, we were so impressed that—even on a holiday—the owner responded quickly and made sure it was taken care of right away. That kind of attentiveness made us feel well cared for.The home was clean, well-equipped, and in a peaceful location that was still close to everything we needed.
