It is also the only ski resort that features naturally separated terrain, allowing beginners, intermediates, and experts to ski and ride on their own distinct areas of the mountain. Its central location (situated between Breckenridge/Keystone to the east and Vail to the west) makes it ideal for the guest who wants to get out and enjoy other resorts as well. With 2433 acres of ski able terrain, Copper Mountain is the biggest and least crowded mountain resort area in Summit County, Colorado. Despite being the biggest, it has the least amount of lodging units available which is the main reason for Copper's uncrowded lifts and runs. With its naturally divided ski terrain that separates skiers by ability across the mountain, Copper has been called 'the most nearly perfect ski mountain in the United States' by the Forest Service. It's also known as the Local's Favorite. Perhaps that's due to Copper's long, steep mogul runs, or its ample above-timberline open bowl skiing. You can get your skis out of your heated ski locker located on the first floor and be at the American Eagle Lift within a minute. Planning your trip? I loved being a short walk from both shops and the main lifts! The hot tubs were a fun addition to the afternoon/evening. Ski storage on the 1st floor was convenient. The view was amazing and I enjoyed the balcony after a long day on the slopes.
The hosts were the most response I've had at any similar rental and extremely accommodating. I'm looking forward to my next visit to this or one of their other properties!
Great communication from the owner. Unit was clean and as described. Excellent location for taking the kids on the bus to ski school, and a close walk to restaurants. Laundry facilities were surprisingly good--6 washers/6 dryers, and they take credit cards.

Loved it! Great views from Balcony
We just loved the location. I am a non skier, so being able to watch the slopes from the condo was great. I will definatley rent from Marcella again!
After a nightmare trip up I70 and making it a day late; the management (Marcella) was so helpful helping me rebook and extend my stay, she made a nightmare vacation into a dream vacation. The location of the condo is wonderfully centered in the village at the base of the mountain and a great view of the half pipe. The Condo itself was very cozy and great to come back to after hitting the slopes all day.... I left my Northface backpack in the closet and Marcella was even kind enough to drop it off at my condo in South Denver. HIGHLY recommend the condo and the management.

We enjoyed our stay. Not as many setups in the kitchen as some places we’ve stayed (no coffee) but otherwise a great place to stay!

Good location in Copper
We enjoyed our stay at this unit in Passage Point. We have stayed in another unit in this same complex so in comparison this particular unit was quite sparse with amenities. Although the unit was clean enough and comfortable we might suggest to look at adding a few nice things for guests, items that an owner might like for themselves too such as artwork on the walls, stock the kitchen with more useful supplies and provide some decent toiletries in the bathroom. Perhaps a deep cleaning (look at the bathtub) and some maintenance on the unit could bring it to a higher level (how about professionally printing the handwritten signs posted around?). The unit is hot during the summer so we suggest ceiling fans to promote airflow. The dishwasher leaked water on the floor so we left a note to hopefully notify the maintenance staff.

Very nice. As advertised. No disappointments.
This unit is clean and well appointed. The location is excellent for both mountain base activities and the mountain activities views. The owner is very responsive and accommodating. Keys and instructions arrive in the mail timely so you drive straight to the condo with zero time invested in a check in process. Total convenience!
Passage Point is great. The hot tubs and heated pools are big and inviting after a day of Colorado activities. The work-out room is clean and has several good machines. The basement parking lot is secure and roomy for an underground lot. As a bonus, it's even heated.
All things considered the price was reasonable, the owner was responsive and accommodating, and I would definitely stay here again.

Great choice for Copper Mountain
This unit is clean and well appointed. The location is excellent. It's a very short walk to the best restaurants, shops, and attractions in Copper Mountain. The view from the balcony is awesome--you can see everything that is going on in Copper Mountain and can even take in music at the many summer concerts a few hundred yards away. An added bonus: on summer Saturdays, CM puts on a fireworks display, and the balcony at this unit offers front row seats.

The only reason I don't give the unit 5 stars is because the bed was not very comfortable. The mattress is obviously cheap. It sagged in the middle, which resulted in a poor night's sleep. Other than that, everything was excellent. I would still return, especially for the price.

Love this property
Love staying at Passage Point at Copper Mountain. It was very nice to look at pictures before booking and making sure this is the condo you want. The time from researching to checkout was smooth and flawless.
We decided to head out a day early. I made a phone call to see if we could get in early and she said go ahead you have there key.
Will more than likey pick this condo again.

Excellent Condo and location
Colorado local renter. We have 2 younger kids and decided on renting for multiple extended weekends this season. We rented #407 for weekends in January and Feb. I am so glad I picked this unit and also picked it for both weekends. Passage Pointe is located maybe 50 yards from the Eagle and Flyer lifts in Center Village. We are talking maybe 60 second walking to the lifts and right there around restaurants, shopping, ice skating etc. Having 2 younger kids, the less we have to walk and carry gear the better. I highly recommend this unit not only because of location but it is extremely well maintained and clean. Our kids were so excited to go back, not to mention us. The property manager is very responsive and friendly also. She always answers the phone and if you do get VM, she will call you back asap. Very accommodating as well. She answered her phone at 9 pm on a Thursday when we were about to depart and we could not locate the room key she sent us. We ended up finding it but the manager Marcella was already getting a "pan B" for us just in case. I cannot say enough about this unit and owners and we have found our place to rent for the next years...that is unless we buy in Passage Point ourselves!
This unit has a balcony that faces Copper so you can see when the lifts are running. The pool and hot tubs are great. Parking is awesome in the garage and the best thing of all is the king size bed in the bedroom! For the kids, there is a pull out sofa which we heard no complaints and when it is put back the condo has more than enough room for all of us.
You will not be disappointed in this rental. Highly recommended.

Convenient and clean condo right near the slopes
Bright and clean one-bedroom in Copper Mountain's Center Village. The condo was spacious and quiet (even on a busy holiday weekend) and within easy walking distance of the lifts. Being able to look out over the mountain and ski runs from the living room and the balcony was a nice bonus; it was nice to wake up to that view and to watch the snow cats groom the trails at night. Managers were friendly and responsive. Overall, a great vacation experience.

Great for family of 4 (2 Adults and 2 kids aged 3 & 5)
The condo was nice and clean and located in the perfect location in Copper Village. It is walking distance wearing ski boots to the lifts and all of the restaurants and stores in Center Village. It is also walking distance to daycare and ice skating. The shuttle bus to West Village (ski school) is right across the street from the entrance of Passage Point where the condo is located. The condo was close to the elevator (no noise is heard from outside the condo) which made it easier to get to/from the room. Passage Point has three hot tubs and each one is a different temperature. The coldest one feels like a warm bath which was great for the kids to play in with their goggles on. The condo view faces the mountain and you can look down at the hot tubs. Parking is inside the garage below the building. It was very easy to find a spot. We stayed for a week from Christmas through New Years and purchased ski 5 out of 8 day lift tickets. On the two days we didn't ski, we went tubing (East Village), snowmobiling (kids rode with us) 30 min away, and took a CAT tour up the mountain at Camp Hale (1 hr away). The only thing we wish we had done was dog sledding. Every place we called was booked so if you want to do this, you need to make reservations well in advance of your trip. Copper Mountain is a short drive to Frisco (10 min) which has restaurants and a Safeway. You will need to purchase extra toilet paper and paper towels if you are staying for a week. Housekeeping does not clean the condo during your stay and does not restock supplies. The condo comes stocked with plates, glasses and silverware and there is a dishwasher.
- Also, even though the ski school is in West Village, you can pick up the kids rentals and return them at the ski shop in any Village (East, Center and West). If you book anything in advance, you get a 20% discount (ski lessons/school, lift tickets, tubing, etc.).

Clean comfortable space right in the village
Great one bedroom condo in the village. Owner/manager was very good at communicating and sending out keys and instructions ahead of time as well as quick at returning the security deposit. It was very clean and had everything you'd expect. Right in the village and an easy walk to anything in Copper.

Best Condo at Copper Mountain
I stayed in this condo in December 2013 and loved it so much that I rented it again in April 2014. Listing description and photos are exactly as described. Super cute place, spacious, sparkling clean, fully equipped kitchen, looks like it's brand new inside. Amazing view of the slopes, half pipe, and hot tubs from the balcony. I'm so certain that I'll be coming back here again that I decided to buy a season lift pass. I'd HIGHLY recommend this condo. Great location to everything...slopes, stores, restaurants, buses, etc...The heated parking garage is a bonus but you don't even need a car to get around since the bus system here is free and will take you around Copper and nearby towns like Frisco, Silverthorne, Breckenridge, etc...It doesn't get any better than this. Thanks again Marcella for everything. It's greatly appreciated! See you again real soon!!

Valentine's day ski vacation
The condo was in a perfect location and we will definitely rent again. The 3 large outdoor hot tubs were great after a day on the slopes. We had amazing views of the half pipe and loved our balcony. The room has a cozy fire place, comfortable king bed and updated kitchen. The unit is a 2 minute walk to the lifts and has restaurants even closer. It really is in the heart of the village and we loved being able to walk to everything. A car is not needed if you stay at this condo.

Beautiful large one bedroom condo with amazing views of the slopes. A short walk to the lifts, shops and restaurants. Centrally located in Copper. Nice amenities - hot tubs, gym. Underground parking a plus in winter. We watched the New Years Eve fireworks from our balcony - truly unforgettable.

Beautiful Copper Condo
This one bedroom condo is beautiful, comfortable and perfectly located with Copper Village. It was an excellent two-night stay - the condo is quiet, the bed was wonderful and the deck was a perfect place for sipping coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night!

Great time in Copper
Beautiful condo, great location. My only complaint is that we could not figure out how to change the temperature in the condo: it was very hot the whole time & we couldn't figure out how to turn the heater off. We had to open the windows to cool it down. Clean, updated, quiet but close to everything.

What a great vacation!
First off, I have to say that the communication with the owner was above and beyond! He really made the whole transaction smooth and effortless. The condo was exceptionally clean and super convenient to everything. My husband and I and our 2 boys 10 and 7 were quite comfortable. We will be staying here for all of our Copper Mountain vacations.
