"The location was perfect didn't realize either that we were a block away from the Palace. Plus a block away from the scenic river canal and eateries. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Will say the hallways were a little musty - think it goes with the old building. The AC never coledthe room down enough luckily we weren't there when it was warm weather."

"Did the job! We did book a bigger 'captain's room' and glad we did because that was pretty small. It's functional. Could do with a bit of a lift, really - our blind had seen better days. Shower is really just a dribble, but a constant temperature dribble so not all bad. Could do with a bath mat as the bathroom is a wet room and we had to use a towel as a mat to leave the bathroom. The room is not overly sound proofed. But on a positive, staff were lovely, you can buy snacks and alcohol at the reception and eat/drink them in the quite nice lounge (between reasonable times - they don't let you stay late, which is great considering sound!). Breakfast I thought was good - nothing spectacular, but better than some I've experienced! Great location and in a quiet part of the city. I found the bed to be confortable and actually did enjoy the stay there. It's just a hotel room after all, you're there for the city, not the room. Like I said, did the job"
