"This is probably the best hotel in the town, great staff, a beautiful room, well designed to Western standards and a great view of the lake from the third floor. A glass wall in the bathroom afforded a view of the lake from the shower. They also provided us with an oxygen tank to the room for 180 bob which was great. What I didn't like was the shower over bath. The shower head was too close to the wall so I found myself with one leg up on the bath rim to try to get my body under the shower...

"Great views over the lake, spacious rooms and Alpacas roaming the grounds. We had a nice stay, the rooms can be little cold as the window seals aren’t great (we were there on a windy night). It is a little further from town than I expected but a taxi to the Main Street is only 10 Bolivianos. Staff were friendly and provided detailed info about the area. "

"Someone obviously put a lot of care into building this place and in cultivating the gardens and grounds, it's really lovely. The concierge, Ricardo goes above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating, he's wonderful. Having said that, he's also a bit short staffed so things are a bit untidy-the gardens need attention, the lobby isn't always picked up but the beauty and tranquility of the location and the pleasant but simple rooms make it worthwhile.
