"The staff were so helpful and gracious. The bed in my original room was elevated as was the bath. They very kindly switched me to a different location so that I could avoid all the up-and-down movement with my knees. This was a great place to visit with dogs. Hiking, sitting by the campfire and resting near the big postcard window were memorable and relaxing ways to pass the time with furry friends. "

"This property was excellent for being on the water with our kids! The kids, dog and even my husband and I enjoyed playing in the beautiful Tacoa. The house was spacious and my husband and I were able to have some separate space and not have the kids right on top of us the entire time. We enjoyed cooking meals there, gathering around the large dining table to play games and the morning coffee views were so relaxing. We drove to the lake for dinner, went kayaking with Appalachian Adventures ( Excellent!) and enjoyed some time at Sea Glass Falls. The falls are very close to the cabin and provided a great mountain adventure for us. We also enjoyed the hike and experience of the nearby swinging bridge. It was a easy hike and great views.I was able to communicate well with the host and they did well providing us with additional information. On top of that, during our visit to Suches Life they also took time out to research some places that we were interested in and help guide us!The only recommendation I have for the Bookery is to add children's books in the kids room, or more children's books downstairs. We would have enjoyed reading to the kids at night and seeing them curled up with a book as well.We will be back again!"

"Another great stay at this property. Easy access to the Toccoa and it was 10 degrees cooler than the city. Always a pleasure staying with this host. Treehouse was in perfect condition. The AC keeps it nice and cool. The staff at Suches Vacation Rentals are good folks. Very responsive and accommodating with their customers. "

"Had family visiting from Texas who had never fly fished. The location of Riverlands Retreat is perfect for anglers. Catch and release only at the cabin where we caught multiple trout everyday using artificial nymphs or streamers. If you want to keep trout that you catch, the cabin is just 15 minutes from multiple sites (Rock Creek, Deep Hole, Cooper Creek, Sandy Bottom) stocked by the Dept of Natural Resources. It was rainy while we visited so the screened, covered backporch overlooking the river was our favorite spot to hang. The perfect get- away if you want to be away from the crowds that can dominate the Blue Ridge area. Peaceful retreat and one to which we certainly will return."

"I am in the process of moving up there and needed a place to stay while putting my stuff in storage. My new house is actually less than a mile away, and i know I will highly recommend this place as a place for my guests to stay (if they dont want to stsy with me) everything was as advertised, the layout is hard to show on pictures,but it was REALLY clean and comfortable. It has a quaint eclectic feel to it. If you are looking for fancy and modern, this is not your location, but I loved it! My friends also loved it. I brought 2 of my dogs with me, and I would say the yard isnt ideal for dogs, but I love that they allowed them. Of course they dont want dogs on the furniture and mine dont understand that, so I was unable to have them out in the main living area, but they could go out on the wrap around porch with a baby gate up, or downstairs on the jacuzxi porch. There are steep stairs to go down to the bottom level, one of my dogs went down no problem, the other one said no thanks, lol. I will also say, I was so looking forward to using the hot tub after a long road trip, but it was still chilly and not warmed up, so I turned it up to get in it later that day and I had accidentally made it too hot, lol. So if you plan on using it, check it out and put to a lower temperature than the max one lol.Highly recommend this place, the church bells were beautiful!it on to use the ne"
