"This home and town were so wonderful and lovely, I couldn’t even say it in words! The host was so kind, communicative and extremely helpful. She even left us a pint of Welsh milk in the fridge! It was a short walk from the train station and everything we needed in town, as well as a short walk to the harbor where you can see the sea and have your pick of many boat cruises to see marine life and more. The home was very clean and had a beautiful little patio outside to relax and take in the nice weather. I liked that she had recycling bins, too, and compost! We slept very well and the shower was wonderful. The home had everything we needed. I cannot say enough good things about this home and host and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. "

"An absolute gem in a fantastic medieval town. This was our second time in Conwy, but with teen children now, and the cottage was perfect. Lots of spaces to spread out and have a little personal time in the middle of a long trip, excellent bedrooms and bathroom, a beautiful kitchen with all the amenities, and even a washing machine for clothes. The back patio against the old medieval wall was a special evening treat for drinks and relaxing, and we got to watch a mother pigeon protect her chicks in their little wall nest while father pigeon messed with the crows. Parking was tight and a bit nerve wracking, requiring me to reverse up the narrow street between parked cars, but by that point I was used to this feature of the UK."
YHA Conwy - Hostel

"Room was basic but clean and orderly. The beds were a bit hard but good enough for a nights sleep. Lights in the room operated on a timer rather than a switch, not sure why you can’t turn them on and off with a switch to save power, but that seems like a YHA quirk rather than the hostel itself. Staff were friendly and engaging, and facilities were good to make breakfast. There are no towels or soap so make sure to bring basic supplies for as long as your there. overall had a great stay."

"Lovely cottage in a great location within walking distance to the town. Had everything that you would need for a nice stay. My only negative in the cottage would be the pillows. They really need to invest in new ones. If you have a large car I would not recommend this cottage. It is very difficult to get a large car in front of the cottage. A small car is fine. This is due to where 2 other cottages park, it is very difficult to swing around and get through the very small gap. A visit to the repair shop for me 😢 "
