You will love your time at the Lazy Bear Lodge! This house sits at the end of a dead-end road off West Side Road, so there's little traffic. Close to all area amenities, this home will quickly become your favorite escape. Go for a scenic stroll at one of the local parks, or take everyone to the ice skating rink. To indulge your creative side, check out the theater company for plays, concerts, and readings.

A peaceful firepit area offers views of the woods on the property, and there is a large wraparound deck with a picnic table. Inside, you'll have a primary bedroom with an en suite bathroom and a loft. The main level offers a kitchen and a vast living area drenched in natural light with a view of the woods. There are two TVs, air-conditioning, and an outdoor grill. You'll also have a private yard with plenty of areas to explore. With all the features of home you know and love, you won't want to leave.

Great place for family trip.

Great quiet place to stay!! Comfortable beds. Only thing that would make it perfect would be a hot tub! 🤞🏻maybe next time they will have one.

Great home base!

Great house in a quiet area. The walkway floods when it rains so be careful. The first step is very high. No TVs in the bedrooms but one in the loft that can be heard downstairs when it’s on. Other than that lovely spot!

Nice Home

We visited for 3 nights and it was a very nice home for the family to explore the white mountains. Was dissapointed to find the lawn unmowed for the season towards the end of june. This made using the lawn and fire pit impractical.

Hot long weekend

The house is very nice and it was clean when we entered. It was a hot weekend and the AC couldn't keep up and the house was over 80 when trying to go to bed each night. The grill was broken which was unfortunate because we bought food to be cooked on the grill. The deck is nice and big had a great time watching the stars.I would definitely come back at a cooler time of year.

Great fun

Loved the ommon areas. Enough room for all the girls to chat and be comfortable . Felt safe because of the neighborhood but property was private enough for us to all feel very away from home

Lovely upscale cabin feel with a private back yard

Beautiful layout, nice private yard at the end of a cul-de-sac. Some street and train noises but nothing bothersome. The kitchen, baths and bedrooms were clean and ready for us when we arrived. Overall it was a nice stay! Just a few things to note... Inside widow sills and deck could use a cleaning...lots of cobwebs. Fire alarm is sensitive. We cooked bacon in oven (no smoke) but alarms sounded. Next day tried smaller batch on the griddle same result. Kitchen vent doesn't seem to help. The central A/C doesn't flow well in the upstairs loft and bedrooms. People sleeping down stairs definitely used extra blankets so that the upstairs was comfortable enough to sleep with fans. Vacasa was responsive and did bring extra fans and tried to correct the issue. We had a group of 7 people and needed to use the chairs we brought from home around the fire pit. The house had 3 working outdoor chairs and 3 low sitting beach chairs in the garage and a picnic table on the deck. We never found the trail to the water as described. But it is a nice neighborhood to walk and a very nice location.

Out of the way location yet still close to activities...

Nice open concept cabin that's great if stuck indoors due to weather like this 4th of July week as a matter of fact. The layout made it easy for people to socialize. Large and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped with some perishables as well as everything you'd have on hand in your own home. Side note: Being able to walk to the Swift River is only accomplished by following the RR tracks. An existing trail through a field at the end of the Cul de Sac is impassable unless it's been hayed. You'll hear the Scenic Train pass often and close :) as well as Dairy cows during the day.

This is the most lovely cabin we ever stayed at, super clean, no stress for checking-in and out. The kids loved the loft area and all our rooms and bathrooms are super clean. I would definitely recommend this place!!

Property Manager was very rude and unpleasant, too bad for the owners that trust someone to manage

There was only one wine glass in the whole house! House was short on many kitchen ware and wood for fireplace! So make sure before you check in to buy kitchenware and wood for fireplace because the property manager is hate to be bothered and will hang up the phone! Grill is very outdated not to say its for the dump! Small Cheap TVs! Unfortunately the house get cuts on budget on all essential things! We will not stay there again! Too many additional charges! House is in the middle of field not mountain!

Nice home base for Mt Washington Valley

Perfect location accessible to everything. Comfortable and clean home. Lacks a few kitchen items i.e. larger knives for preparing food (but I always bring my own anyway) and there was no spatula for the grill. Could use some nightlights. Overall great experience.

Warm and cozy home away from home

Absolutely loved this home to keep us during our vacation. I really wanted to find a place that had the perfect warm cabin feel, and this place checked all of the boxes. Everything was clean, looked picture perfect, and so many fun things to do nearby. Grocery stores within 10 minutes drive and a quick walk to swift river. We will want to come back here next year!

Gorgeous peaceful home

Amazing time spent in this lovely home. Super clean right when we walked in! Has a homey feel. Perfect location within 10-15 minutes away from shopping areas and trails. Definitely will be coming back here in the future! Only thing I may suggest is an upgraded tv size. Wonderful home!

Magnificent Lodge

We can’t say enough about our stay at your lodge! The place was absolutely stunning and immaculate plus the location was convenient to everything ; from tubing on the Saco river, shopping in the outlet stores and dining out. Although, most of the time, we just relaxed and enjoyed a very peaceful getaway at an amazing home!! We will definitely book this rental again!

We loved this home so much that we went back for a second stay. Gorgeous home, true to the pictures on site. Clean, quiet but close to everything. We had a small issue with a toilet and they were right on it to make repairs. Highly recommend!

Perfection!

The cabin smell when you walk in is divine! This place is sparkling clean, beautiful, and cozy as can be! The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need. The property is secluded, and on a dead end street so the kids could scoot around! We spent the days on the river and the evenings lounging by the fire. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back (again and again)! Thank you, Lazy Bear!

A perfect weekend of peace and tranquility

This home is gorgeous! Extremely clean and plenty of room for everyone. It was perfect for what we needed. Loved the deck to sit and have morning coffee and evening wine. Fully stocked kitchen with every item you could possibly need. Only negative, the mosquitos! Definitely bring bug spray if you plan on sitting around the fire or out on the deck. Other than that, I have nothing negative to say. Can not wait to stay here again. Already have a week planned for next month. Can't wait!!

Beautiful Comfortable Home!

Lovely vacation home in immaculate condition. Cozy and comfortable including the beds. Great convienent location for Kangamagus, Conway, and Crawford Notch area. We used as a "base camp" for day hiking. We were just 2 people, but would certainly be large enough for a large family. We hope to come back!
