"We stayed one night on the way to catch the early ferry to Malta. Property is exactly as expected from photos on-line. Giancarlo was an excellent, communicative host, although due to our early departure we didn't get a chance to meet. We walked to a wonderful seafood restaurant nearby on the evening of our stay. Everything we needed in our comfortable, air conditioned room. "

We included a wine tasting and ate dinner at the hotel so it was almost 24 hours of relaxation and enjoyment where we did not leave the vineyard grounds at all. Giancarlo was very welcoming and very helpful with setting up transportation for us to explore towns outside of Pozzallo. In Pozzallo this B&B is within walking distance of the sites - about 20-30 minutes. Which is something the locals do. It is called una passeggiata along the Via Vittorio Veneto.
The price is good and the B&B is near some restaurants. Though keep in mind that in Italy places close midday because it is too hot in the summer. They reopen in the evening.
Breakfast was very good every morning. There's hard boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, and your choice of 5-6 different flavored croissants (your order is taken the day before.)
The beach is right across the street. I only wish we knew we had to bring our own beach towels, but when we asked the hotel provided some.
Overall a pleasant stay and I would return there again in the future. "

"We had a lovely stay at the Relais Antica Badia. The team were just fantastic in keeping us comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was amazing and the little daily cakes and evening chocolates made it special. They even did a small breakfast birthday cake for my wife. The hotel location is good with lots of nice restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The location is also good for accessing Ragusa Ibla via the steps. The local bus station to Modica and Scicli is also an easy walk. We thoroughly recommend a stay here and would certainly stay again. "
