The cabin was cute and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the location. The location provided option on to hike, fish, swim, and access to a town. The stay was delightful and we would stay again in the future.
This is a great place for someone who would enjoy the forest near the river.
Beautiful surroundings and a nice log structure.
Great location for a fairly large group.
The cabin was great and just as pictured. Close to so many neat areas. Mr Cotton was quick to communicate. We would definitely recommend this property!
everything was good. the cabin does experience some hwy noise.
I was expecting that from past reviews.
could not find the WiFi password posted.
my phone ATT did not work from the cabin.
lots of wildlife on the road be careful! I would use again.!
Only complaint. Second bath/ laundry had houndreds of millapedes on the floor dead.
Little close to road. So lots of road noise. But nothing can be done for this.
Upon initial review, the cabin was clean from the exterior. The code was provided prior to arrival but the patio door was not locked, it was open. This would be a safety issue.
Overall, it was still a good stay with excellent communications with the owner. The hot water worked very well. The TV and DVD player did function but has picture issue of being black and white. The kitchen had various items for cooking, spices, aluminum foil, utensils, oil spray, soaps, etc. It is a beautiful cabin with room to accomodate 11 people which is nice for a large family.
The following items needs improvements or were missing:
• Bunkbed bedroom smoke detector dangling from ceiling and missing battery
• Laundry room smoke detector missing
• Laundry room switch receptacle missing
• Laundry room white wire hooked to water heater dangling without cover from ceiling
• Exterior cooking grill filthy, not cleaned with burned residue
• Fire pit area placement grass knee high and fire debris left around it, not cleaned
• White large bones near staircase
• Dishwashing pad was old and frail
• TV DVD player – Component video cable missing so used Composite video cable but only gives you Black and White video picture
• Bunkbeds blanket and sheets appeared to have dog white hair even though site said “No Pets”

My husband and I stayed in this cabin for a week. The cabin is nicely appointed, very clean, comfortable beds, and such a beautiful location!
The host was easily contacted and quick to reply.
We would recommend staying here!
Property was perfect for a buddies fishing trip. Rustic with all the basic amenities necessary when not on the water. Proximity to restaurants/town when needed was great. Would definitely stay here again.
My family booked this cabin to stay while we attended a nearby festival. The host was responsive and the cabin was everything we could have wished for. Stocked kitchen, lots of bedding, great location, an outdoor grill, and there are even DVDs stocked if you want to watch a movie. It is located closed to hiking trails and fishing spots if you are outdoorsy, and very comfortable if you just want to lounge and relax.

Perfect economical rental when you're in the Bitterroot Valley. Clean and has all the essentials. Bed was very cozy and comfortable but be warned the queen bed is very tall. Luckily there was a step ladder I could use. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is the location. It does sit right on the highway with traffic noise. For the economical price, however. I would definitely stay there again.
Enjoyed our stay...deer in the evening around property...close to painted rock and got to see one day 2 miles down road a group of big horn sheep, the big rams...
The cabin was outstanding. It was clean and perfect for our vacation. I had contact with the Owner and Property Manager and both went out of their way to assist. It is a great place to stay. Highly recommend this cabin. We had a great stay
Friend and I stayed for a hunting trip. Great place had everything we needed, Darby was just a short distance away for supplies. Easy to check in and out place was clean and organized. Would stay again
Had a great trip. This cabin had everything you need for a worry free vacation. Very clean and close to Bitterroot River. Spent most of our vacation paddling several sections of the Bitterroot and on a rainy day we spent time shopping with dinner in the friendly city of Darby.
For those of us who are fans of Kevin Costner’s Yellowstone series, the Dutton Ranch is just down the street from the cabin. Although Rip and Beth were no where in site, it was quite the picture spot.
Just north of The cabin is Darby. There’s a fantastic candy shop and a little brewery, the Bandit Brewery. For those who enjoy tasting local microbrews. jalapeño Lime wheat 😋
