It is true there is a gun range about a mile or so away and folks do love to shoot there. So, thank you for mentioning it for future guests! Great to hear that you enjoyed your time at our Conneaut Lake property. It is true (and the listing and maps) do show that our place is 3/8 of a mile from the lake. So, important for future travelers to note this. Bed Linens are provided "beach style" so you do need to make the beds. Glad this was not an issue for this guest. Sorry, that you found the location...and the Conneaut Lake Area, in general (so it sounds) so below desirable. You would be in the minority; but, thanks for sharing your feedback. Happy travels!

Thank you for your guest stay and review! So glad you were able to enjoy this "sister's" getaway. Yes, the speed bumps are a definite issue! These complaints have been filed with the HOA (we are not sure what they will do) but in the mean time--for future guest--please be aware, drive slow to avoid an issue. With respect to toilet paper there is always a roll in use and at least 1 back up roll per bathroom (with three bathrooms that means 6 rolls per stay). If you are guest that thinks you need more, please feel free to bring your own. In this day and age, though ridiculous, toilet paper is a high theft items by guests (sad to say but true).

The owner has issued a complaint to the township and HOA as they are NOT well marked and difficult to see. Go slow!

Yes, there is in indeed a Sportman's Club about a mile away that does have a popular shooting range. It's random when they shoot; but, it does occur.

We are certainly sorry for the fence work on the last day or your 4 night guest stay. As we explained before your guest stay via email and onsite when I spoke to your husband this was the only day this work could have been done until November (which we simply could not wait until then with snow falling regularly in the snow belt by then). Unfortunately, some prior guest poor behavior that affected the neighbor's privacy required our owner to complete this work as soon as possible. Though you were a good guest in this respect, some other guests over the summer were not. All too often it's a bad few that ruin it for others. We work to be a good neighbor within our community---hence the priority given to this fence work. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience.
