"Everything was fine . One thing I noticed: strange behaving several people entered hotel and helped themselves to breakfast leaving promptly. No one stopped them or said anything. I suspect they were homeless. One was wearing dirty house pants. One noticeably had some mental condition twitching and talking to himself. I would prefer staying in a place that caters only to paying guests who are verified with ID "

"This is a really nice place. It's a 1920's era hotel in excellent condition so the rooms aren't large but they're definitely adequate. All sorts of dining, shops, the ocean, and a trolley line are in walking distance. The trolley stops at all sorts of attractions. The hotel staff is very pleasant, efficient, and accommodating."

"Been to SF more than 10 times - usually stay around union square for Moscone - but honestly this is now my fav hotel, amazing design, very unique architecture. Rooms well maintained, clean and appointed and super friendly and helpful staff, nothing was a problem and everything I asked for sorted quickly and hassle free. This isnt always the case in SF. Bonus this part of town is without all the hassles and troubles you find further up in Union square and surrounds - the walk to Moscone wasnt bad and the hotel made it worth it. Definitely will be back here if I can. "
