"This home was amazing from the view, comfort, so many extras from the host! Spacious , lots of information for surrounding amenities , games room, kids roomsSuch a perfect venue for a get together. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could think of which included a large dinning table for our gathering Beds were super comfy and overall cozy feel. "Cabin was very nice but needs some small maintenance. Electrical plug at left of the sink has loose connections. Trim on left of bedroom "barn door" needs nailing. Shower has low water pressure. Only one table spoon in cutlery set and no serving spoons.These are minor issues biut would add to the enjoyment of the stay "

"Our group of four women had a super nice stay this lovely home. Judie has thought of everything to make her guests comfortable. She was also very helpful in our trip planning. She had great suggestions for dinners, lunches, coffee, and sites to see. Judie’s breakfasts are lovely as well. We enjoyed her large, inviting kitchen. The entire home is full of interesting, whimsical art and more. We highly recommend this place. "

"These hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. They even came looking to find us when we couldn’t find the entrance to their property! The stairs up to the loft sleeping area are very steep, but the bed was extremely comfortable. If someone can’t manage the stairs, there is a pull out sofa also provided. Great location when looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. "

"Had high expectations going in and all of them were exceeded. The house itself accommodated 4 families very comfortably and every little detail was meticulously thought through - host Madison & Jody have clearly put their heart & soul into this place which honours the local Acadian traditions. The property overlooks the ocean which allowed us to take our time and walk on it at low tide. It is located in a quiet community but close to spectacular scenery and beaches such as Smugglers Cove and Mavilette beach where the kids swam and became master beachcombers finding large never before seen sea shells. This place provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of more popular getaways. In truth, we thought the Brier Island Lighthouse easily rivalled that of Peggy’s Cove - and we had it all to ourselves. The place feels like it’s off the beaten path yet still very accessible as it is only 25 min drive from Digby ferry. We all highly recommend this place. Any one looking to catch up with family & friends away from the blare of conventional tourist swells, where the only distraction is a stunning sunset and tidal movements that leave you awestruck, cannot go wrong with the Cove House. Fully satisfied."
