"Mavillette was beautiful even if foggy at times. The nearby beach was conveniently close and a lot of fun at high tide and low tide.The rental home was very spacious, modern and welcoming.We saw deer, pheasants and ospreys on the property.Rena was wonderful to deal with, thank you for everything!"

The beach was just a short walk away, and the soothing sounds of the water made the whole experience incredibly calming and refreshing. "This is an amazing property! It’s very clean and everything we needed was there. The lake was so peaceful, and beautiful. The cottage is located in the woods which made it so private. The family loved swimming, kayaking, and fishing all week. We really didn’t need to do anything more than stay at the cottage. We are hoping to make it a yearly thing with family, considering that half of us live in Ontario and the other half are in Nova Scotia. Thank you again to Andrea for hosting us!!! "

"Terrific time in Kemptville, NS at this accommodation - Moose Cabin - Golden Forest Lodge. I recently had a three day vacation there with my 14 year old Son and his Father. We had a great experience from the moment we arrived. We were greeted upon arrival, the owner/host went out of his way to accommodate us and we were treated very kindly throughout the entire stay. The cabins themselves look new and the details of the decorating were so beautiful/serene. Oh and we also had access to a BBQ, fire pit (yummy Smores lol), small stove, dishwasher, fridge, and nice shower in the cabin There are large windows everywhere and it almost feels like you are staying outdoors. Absolute stunning nature and wildlife all around you. A pier/dock a few minutes walk/drive away with kayaks, fishing access, sauna, and great area for swimming on the lake. The pictures do not do this location justice in my opinion. The price is also great considering the quality of the stay, attentive, nice, and accommodating host and the picturesque landscape. Would recommend a stay here to anybody, sincerely. Plan on returning for a longer period of time next summer 2025. Thank you to our Host."
