No other property in the state has to offer what this property does, its truly special! Unplug from the daily stress of life and reconnect with your family and nature at this beautiful property. Its your own slice of paradise with 80 acres of hills, forest's and creeks to explore and hike. With so many breath taking views of the lake and hills and so many activities on site you'll never want to leave! Take one of the kayaks or canoe out on the 12 acre lake or go swimming and just have fun seeing all the wildlife. The lake is also fully stocked with all types of fish so you can enjoy fishing year round. After a long fun stress free day unwind in the hot tub or hammocks and enjoy the big stone outdoor fireplace and cook your favorite meal and enjoy it lake side or by either one of our fire pit areas! Let the kids play at the new playground or in the sand and enjoy the beach area. With every rental you can use the 4 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, paddle boat, life jackets, and fishing poles. We also have a climate control game barn that's 1500 sq ft and has: pool table, ping pong, foosball, dart board, basketball hoop, pop a shot arcade, record blue tooth player, checkers and other varies other games. The cabin is newly renovated with updated furniture and very spacious! With high speed internet and a workspace in the loft over looking the first floor this is the perfect cabin for a work/vaca getaway. Also, being in the heart of brown county state, the biggest state park in Indiana, you are just minuets from everything they have to offer. If you enjoy shopping and dinning historic Story Indiana and Nashville is just 15 minuets away.

Perfect family retreat

It was a great family getaway! AmaInf time in nature. So many option for activities & entertainment. The cabin & grounds were very clean & well kept. Great communication with the host with any questions. We would definitely consider revisiting this sweet spot again!

Fabulous Fall Break

This property is stunning! We loved the trails, lake, game barn, and fire pits. The cabin is spacious and welcoming. We especially loved the canoe and kayaks on the peaceful lake. We rebooked for next year!

Family Getaway.

We had a great 2 night get away with our old neighbors, kids included. Everything we needed was there. Wish the weather would have been a little nicer for us, but the game barn was a great add on for our rainy day. Would love to stay again!

Great lake home!

Just right for a family vacation. Lot’s of water activities to do in the lake. Fishing, floating, kayaking, paddle boards. The lake was just the right size. Caught several large mouth bass!

Beautiful Scenery

My friends and I had a wonderful time at the Lakehouse. The foliage was gorgeous and having both the hot tub and the fire made for relaxing evenings. Host was responsive and home was clean with plenty of nice touches. Highly recommend. Will be coming back for sure.

Great location but …

This is a great location and the place was clean when we arrived. However we had a minor injury and thought it a bit tacky that they charged us 72.00 to replace a sheet and mattress pad which could have easily been washed out

Perfect place to retreat

We came to retreat, and we did just that. We slept in, played together, explored the gorgeous property together and separately (it was a mixed group of introverts and extroverts, and the space is great for that.), enjoyed late night chats in the hot tub, and just were able to be together. We brought food, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. The coffee pot was a little finicky, but I’m sure with how attentive this host is it will be fixed by the next guest. We just loved our time there! The first night, we were already talking about wanting to come back next year.

Fun in the Sun!

We have begun taking family vacations (us, our kids, our grandkids) and this property was recommended to us. We had the perfect weather - sunny with temps in the upper 80’s each day for the 4 days. We “boated” and floated in the lake most of each day. The adults enjoyed a fire each evening once the kids were in bed. We unplugged from the world, except to catch up on the Cubs and the Masters. We had such a good time that none of us left the property until it was time to check out. We did not rent the game barn, so we can’t comment on that. We didn’t need it for entertainment but then we had perfect weather and enjoyed the lake/beauty/fun/boats of the property.

Private Lake best for smaller groups.

We had a great time here despite the winter weather. This location would be best experienced in the summer when guests can take advantage of the lake, beach, and other outdoor areas. In the winter, we were restricted to the house itself and the game barn, which is included with an additional fee. When we booked the property we didn't know that the Game Barn would cost extra, so we were a little bummed to find that out after booking. However, through conversations with the host, they were apologetic and even offered us the Game Barn at a discount due to the confusion. We were very appreciative of that. The property is listed to have more bedding than it should. There is a bunk bed in the basement that has a weight restriction on it of 150 pounds or so, which was much lighter than any of the adults we had with us. The property was beautiful, and again, would be great for a single family. Plenty to do outside, large living area inside, fully stocked kitchen, and the hosts even provided space heaters for the winter as an added touch. As described, there was no cell phone service, which we found to be rather relaxing. The WiFi didn't work while we were there, but we never reached out to the hosts to get that fixed. I believe that they would have if they had known, but it wasn't a necessary feature for us. Check out time was earlier than we expected and we felt rushed on our last day there because the welcome packet says there will be a fee if you aren't out in time. All-in-all, we'd probably give this location a 3-3.5 stars. Beautiful property, well stocked house, communicative hosts, clean and private. However, it didn't quite fit all the needs of our group, we were worried about added fees, following the very specific rules for all amenities, and the number of usable beds was not correct.

A true get-away. Beautifully peaceful except for the squeals from the kids trying kayaking and fishing for the first time and crickets and frogs at night. It's a definite repeat vacation!

Our third visit - awesome property!

We had another wonderful trip to the One in a Million Lakehouse. New stove, dishwasher and microwave this trip, which made cooking a breeze. As always, had a great time on the lake, kayaking and canoeing. Saw several deer and had a lovely, relaxing time. Thanks, again!

Family Get Together

This is our second time at "The One In A Million Lake" and it was just a good as the first time. Communication with Leidiane was great. My family had a wonderful time fishing, kayaking and enjoying the peaceful seclusion of the property. Little Nashville is only 20 minutes away. Enjoyed several restaurants and shopping. Thanks again for sharing. We all had a awesome weekend!!!!!!!
