A home nestled within 20 acres of pure pine forest. Two stock ponds & a Treehouse with playground . Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a country-style cabin for 8 and an RV for 8 as well , sleeps > 16 guests ! She-shed with jacuzzi/ spa for 5 . Eclectic stuff surrounding it! Plus UTV and mini tractor!
12 miles north of La Grange; 90 minutes away from Houston, Austin, or San Antonio. 25 minutes away from Round Top Antique Show.
Close enough to the city, yet private and peaceful. Enjoy a slice of country life & nature!
THE SPACE
A small rustic cabin in the woods on an 20 acres of Texas pines forest woods and an RV / trailer for extra guests. Whether it’s a family getaway, the MS 150 race, or the antique show, you'll be amazed at the trees and tranquility! Unplug and disconnect. Peace and quiet and nature awaits you !
As soon as you arrive, you will be greeted with a country-style rustic cabin. 2 bedroom and a loft with 2 separate bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, and travel trailer (RV) for extra guests ( total of 4 bedrooms / 8 beds / 3 full bathrooms - fit > 16 guests ! Plus extra sofa bed and floor mattresses available if needed ). Everything included, just bring food !
Our paradise offers a 2-level deck with a boat ramp over a stocked pond, a treehouse, and a swing/play place with a life-size 8-foot-long Sinclair green dinosaur for the little ones to enjoy.
In addition, you can show off your skills at the basketball court and strike a bullseye with the bow and arrow set / dart game . Plus billiard/pool table.
For nature lovers, a hiking trail lined with antiques and other surprises winds around the property.
At night our guests will enjoy stargazing over the campfire.
When you wake up in the morning, you can enjoy your coffee while sitting on the front porch or screened back porch watching the wildlife.

If we could rate this 6 stars, we would. Everything was great. Nice peaceful location, the amenities, the hosts. Just wow. We will certainly be back and would recommend this to anyone seeking a great VRBO experience.

Exceeded all expectations!
The photos don’t do this place justice. While they give you a good idea of what’s on the property, they don’t show how beautiful everything really is. The cabin itself is clean, cozy, and artsy. The decor is unique and there’s everything you need to enjoy your stay in the cabin alone. The outdoor space (hot tub, dock, trails, etc) has all the entertainment you need. We had the best time exploring and didn’t even get a chance to see it all. We’re already planning our next trip back! Thank you for an incredible weekend.

So much fun!
Such a nice place to get away but still have plenty of things to do. So much to find and so many places to explore. The hot tub was much bigger than we thought, and was very clean! Many areas for sleep and most of them are in their own area for comfort. Lovely little cabin, very homey and perfect for a getaway.

Little piece of Heaven
Quiet, Clean and magical. Had great fun fishing, boating, hiking, exploring. Recommend to anyone with kids! Keep them busy for hours!

Adventures in the Piney Woods
I found the perfect cabin to share a couple nights with all of our our children, their spouses and all of the grandkids for a most memorable holiday gathering! The cabin itself was comfy and cozy. The view of the pond and deer from the front porch was so relaxing. But the magic was roaming out into the woods to find all of the cool and interesting statues and structures. It was as if we were in our own magic kingdom. Lots of wonderful memories were made and we cant wait to return! The hosts were super responsive and friendly.

Awesome place!
Clean, well organized, good communication, friendly, fishing was great, beautiful clear night sky, fun on the Kawasaki Mule, fun trails for hiking or riding, new adventure around every corner, hot tub was clean. Would love to go again and spend more time! Thank you for sharing your place with us!
