An Unforgettable Treetop Haven

As you ascend to the Elf's Aerie, you'll discover a comfortable queen-size bed, surrounded by a 360-degree raised deck that offers breathtaking treetop views. Two large chairs thoughtfully convert into twin beds, providing additional sleeping accommodations for your loved ones. Clean linens, towels, water, and a coffee maker with coffee are all thoughtfully supplied, ensuring your stay is both comfortable and convenient. Please note that there is no Wi-Fi or internet available at the treehouse, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature.

The treehouse is equipped with air conditioning and a heater, ensuring that you remain cozy throughout your stay, regardless of the season. A small refrigerator with ice trays adds to your convenience. Illuminating lights both inside and below the treehouse allow you to extend your moments of relaxation and joy into the late evening hours. The bathroom area features a sink with cold running water and a small water closet with a composting toilet. However, the highlight of this unique escape is the open-air outdoor shower, complete with both hot and cold water. With a luxurious rain shower head and body sprayer, the recycled glass bottle shower is a one-of-a-kind experience that will leave you refreshed and rejuvenated.

A camping sink on the ground level is available for washing up after preparing your delicious meals. Don't forget to bring an additional cooler with ice to keep your beverages chilled as you indulge in outdoor dining amidst the forest's embrace.

    As guests of the Elf's Aerie, you'll share 42 acres of densely wooded Lost Pines Forest with residents, two short-term rental guest houses, and one other charming treehouse. Delight in wandering along shaded trails, observing wildlife in their natural habitat. Deer, lizards, roadrunners, woodpeckers, and hawks grace the surroundings, making it a haven for birdwatching enthusiasts. As the sun sets, the west-facing balconies offer the perfect vantage point to witness stunning sunsets and observe the wildlife coming to life.

We'll swing by to say hello and give you some quick tips on the unique features of the treehouse as well as on optional ATV tour of the property. We try to give guests as much privacy as possible during your stay but are happy to help if you have any issues while you're here.

    The Lost Pines Shire is located in Paige, Texas, just a quick 15 minute drive from downtown Bastrop where you'll find great restaurants, bars, and shops. The Elf's Aerie is set back from the road on a large private property shared with 3 other rental homes and a few houses with family residents. There are plenty of hiking trails on our 42 acre property that you are encouraged to explore. 

    This is a unique treehouse rental and features include a composting toilet, outdoor kitchen area, and outdoor shower. The bathroom is located below the main room of the treehouse. The treehouse does not have any wi-fi or TVs making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Please note there is currently a county burn ban in place prohibiting outdoor fires and use of the fire pit until April 13th but could possibly be extended. The propane grill is still available for use.
