The May Queen Cabin sits atop 6 sloped acres of aspen & pine forest, providing views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains where each morning you see “purple mountain’s majesty" from the deck. Sunsets are spectacular year-round, and when the stars come out, with the altitude, and clear mountain air, you’ll be treated to the best stargazing you’ve ever seen. You’ll have easy access to sites like Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods, Air Force Academy, Royal Gorge, and more. A Colorado experience!

Cabin in the mountains

The cabin was great with lots of room for the 6 of us. Beds were comfortable and I loved the Keurig coffee pot. The hot tub was already warm and waiting for us. We would definitely stay there again

Quiet and peaceful

You’ll travel a ways to get out there but worth the drive. It’s a beautiful area with mountains views. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking and sightseeing. Kitchen is stocked with everything you can possibly need. Comfy beds with adjoining bathrooms. Super cute! The road leading up can be rough in spots so take your time. Enjoy!

This cabin fits the name perfectly. Me and my wife loved this cabin. The view out the back was amazing. I told my 3sons about it and we started planning for next year. Thanks for allowing us to stay there. Highly recommend. AMarcus & Josie Holland

Great location in the mountains!

We were so happy with this rental cabin. We took our daughter's family for a vacation in the mountains and it was perfect for our group. We were so impressed with how well stocked it was. Have never stayed in a rental that had such a well stocked kitchen...such a luxury to not have to buy extra spices or worry about paper towels and dishwasher detergent. There was an empty hummingbird feeder on the deck so I made food with the sugar in the kitchen and we were rewarded with a hummingbird show all week. Although we bought laundry detergent we wouldn't have had to. Looks like everyone leaves what they bring there. The kids were impressed with all the games and crafts and we kept jigsaw puzzles going the whole week. It was a short drive to Cripple Creek and the fireworks on the 4th of July were wonderful. Although it took 45 min to an hour to get to Manitou and a few other attractions we really liked being "out of town" and the views were wonderful! Thanks for a wonderful stay, hope to be back!

Phenomenal Property and Location

This cabin is perfectly located for a base camp for outdoor adventures including hiking, fly fishing, and ATV riding. We also enjoyed the towns of Cripple Creek and Victor, which are short drives away. This cabin comes exactly as advertised and was wonderful. The Owners are easy to communicate with and are super helpful!
