掲載されている写真とは少しイメージが異なりました。 海沿いで近くにスーパーもあり素敵なのですが、 建物に重厚感はなく、夜は周囲の音がよく聞こえ、あまり寝付けませんでした。 また、バスルームは広々きれいで、シャンプーなどのアメニティもあり良かったのですが、 バスタオルの端が破れていて残念でした。 建物は、入り口でインターホンを鳴らし開けてもらいます。 朝食付きで予約しており、量もたっぷり出してくださり 美味しくて満足でした。

Contemporary building, nice looking, but no rooms face the ocean, and to get to the beach, one must walk across the street and then across the railroad, so not really a good "beach" choice. But clean and a good breakfast.

Colombo ist nicht wirklich einen Aufenthalt wert. Aber das OceanFront ist okay, wenn man Preis / Leistung betrachtet sogar zeimlich gut. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit, die Zimmer sind okay. Es ist gut gelegen, wenn auch nahe der Bahnlinie. Die Züge fahren aber nur tagsüber.

Very good stay. Kind and attentive to my needs. Good breakfast. Convenince store 2 minutes away. Tea shop 1st floor with great cakes. Easy to walk to the center of city. I never used tuktuk taxi. Best to make tours through Sri Lanka tourist office, 20 minute walk but tour pick up at Ocean Front. Everything worked out great. Would definitely stay again.

Outstanding Place to stay in Colombo

This is an outstanding place to stay. Being in Colombo 3 you are not far from any of the sightseeing/shopping adventures to be had. The staff is very courteous and professional who will go the "extra mile" to ensure your needs are being taken care of. Breakfast is great and at a good price. It is more of a bungalow atmosphere than a major hotel but just as nice. Only thing to remember is that since this is not a major hotel it is best to order your food for Dinner/supper at least 1 hour before you want to eat. Everything is delicious and freshly prepared. Outstanding place to stay and I for one will be a returning guest for many more stays. Close to Railroad tracks so you will have little noise between 6 AM till 8PM

no privacy, peeked into my room from jacuzzi

My room had a jacuzzi outside of my room window. I was not informed it is public jacuzzi, so I opened the window, relaxed, and I was sleeping. Then I woke up as people had a party outside jacuzzi. I noticed young guys are peeping into my room through windows. I am so surprised and scared, but they stayed until midnight. The hotel was fully booked and they could not change my room. There are ants in the room, doors were widely opened owing to the heavy storm, but it is not a big issue in Sli Lanka. Peeper's encouraged design is the big problem. I do not recommend this hotel to whom wants privacy, especially young woman & couples. Other than that, this hotel is a good location, nice view of the sea. 窓の外に公共のジャグジーがあり、暗くて気づかなかったので夜にカーテンをせずに窓を開けて寝ていたら、ジャグジーで若者が酒を飲んでパーティをしており、部屋の中を覗かれていました。全くプライバシーのかけらもなく、大変ショックをうけ、眠れませんでした。 満室のため、部屋の変更もしてもらえず、怖くて部屋からも出られませんでした。４階なのに蟻が行列していたり、嵐で急にドアが開いたりというような点はスリランカだからと許容できますが、覗き見されるようなホテルには2度と泊まりません！ ただし、この部屋以外は海沿いのホテルで景色も良く、快適だと思います。
