Excellent value and a very varied and delicious breakfast. The room is very comfortable but do t expect a high-end 5 star hotel… it’s still amazing value and I’d definitely stay there again. Again, excellent breakfast!

Best hotel in Colombo!

The service from all the staff, cleanliness of hotel, quality of the food, the room sizes was all excellent. Great location, amazing infinity pool and gym. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the staff were extremely helpful and very attentive. Tharun helped me alot to arrange my drivers each day also. Excellent friendly hotel and would 100% recomend to anyone looking to stay in Colombo.

Would I stay here again? You bet.

Mövenpick stay was good. Hotel is efficient and clean. Phone system was not working, which made it difficult to contact front desk or room service for basic requests. Hotel did address this by providing WhatsApp contact information, but the connection was poor and I struggled to contact staff to make requests. On a few occasions, I had to just go down to the lobby to ask for water or place a room service order. Not ideal, but I assume this was a temporary issue. I would stay here again, the rooms are very large, the views are amazing, and the restaurants are really really good (so good I almost didn't want to dine anywhere else in Colombo!).

The property is located in a pretty grubby area of Colombo (but, in truth, most of Colombo is grubby. Poverty is not pretty) The hotel itself, although reasonably new is tired and worn and needs maintenance. (Not terrible but not 5 star) The staff are very friendly and always smiling/chatty. That said, service is slow and erratic. Dining is not great (Cold roast which was supposed to be hot as an example). The best patisserie in the lobby. Lovely cakes and patisseries. You won't find a good cappuccino though. Nice enough rooftop pool but again, not 5 star quality.

Quarto muito bom, banheiro bom, café da manhã ruim

O staff é sensacional. O pessoal da recepção, da portaria, inclusive o pessoal da área externa é muito atencioso. Porém, o cafe da manhã embora ofereça muita variedade a.maioria das comidas são apimentadas ou a base de arroz com curry o que para mim é muito ruim. Sentimos falta de algumas opções ocidentais. Nestes 55 dias de viagem, pela Espanha, Andorra, França, Vietnã, Emirados Árabes, Tailândia, Maldivas e Sri Lanka, foi a pior experiência de café da manhã. A temperatura nos corredores muito baixa, nos elevadores muito quente, me senti bastante desconfortável . O banheiro tem bom espaço, mas sanitário, chuveiro e pias estão separados do quarto por uma porta que não proporciona privacidade, não gostamos. Porém preciso ressaltar que os funcionários são de uma gentileza ímpar.

Ikke acceptabelt!

Det var ikke den bedste oplevelse. Det viste sig at de havde en masse unge praktikanter, som jo egentligt var meget søde og overdrevet venlige. Men det er trods alt et 5 stjernet hotel og rengøringen var simpelthen for ringe. Jeg havde også den oplevelse af at en aften jeg bestilte roomservice tog det næsten en time for at levere efter jeg havde ringet og rykket dem. Den unge mand som leverede maden ville også nasse en cigaret hvilket han selvfølgelig fik, men kunne ikke lade være med på at det var en børnehave der servicerede mig. Synes det er uacceptabelt på et 5-stjernet hotel hvor man trods alt betaler en noget højere pris for servicen. Vil håbe de næste gæster får en bedre oplevelse!
