"The room we had was spacious . However bed was tucked into a little corner . One side of bed space was narrow so no bedside table , you had to duck down to get passed because of ceiling and bed frame was apart in the middle so kept catching toes . The toilet flush was poor, had to flush many time to get tissue to go. "

The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. "

"Absolutely perfect stay cute little place, came as a surprise stay for boyf birthday. Probably booked somewhere else until I saw here an the other place wouldn’t decorate and the owner said I could here so booked to stay here instead it was lovely, cosy we arrived quite late so will have to come back and stay from the check in time to enjoy the views and relaxing vibe. Definitely will come back 5* an he loved the treat Thank you. Also it doesn’t have a tv and I know people choose these places for that but I brought a little projector with me and used the cabins WiFi so we had Netflix on the roof. Only thing is it was that cosy we fell straight to sleep til the morning haha xxx"

"We stayed here to attend a nearby wedding.. 4 generations together . Cottage is fantastic, equipped with everything you could possibly need . Beautiful garden where we played croquet. Ages ranged from 9-93. Such amazing hosts, listening to John’s history was fascinating. They couldn’t have been more helpful. Mum didn’t attempt the spiral staircase but was able to climb the exterior staircase to the lounge . If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet, get away this is your place."
