"Visiting Collias and stayed at Hotel Restaurant Le Gardon during la canicule (heat wave). Cooling off in the hotel swimming

was wonderful & drinking a spritz on the Terrance as well. Breakfasts were nice. Didn’t try their dinners, but other hotel guests seemed to have enjoyed them. It’s a friendly place with a friendly staff. It’s worth the drive outside of town - the prices were great."

"Good value, newly renovated chateau, with nice and quiet

area and well kept gardens. A high standard restaurant, although you need too practice your French since none off the waiters speak very much English, but having said so they put in an effort to make them self understandable and give you an excellent service. The staff in reception are all fluent in English. We enjoyed our stay and had some relaxing days in calm luxurious surroundings."
