Although the location was a bit far from the station, we walked there with our luggage. The room was very clean, the basic kitchen facilities were very good, and the staff at the information desk were friendly.

The room was very dirty, our feet were covered in dirt when walking along the floor. The bedding was stained and had dirt marks on it. The room is also very tired.

it was easy to find and check in was a breeze. the beautiful lady at the reception was very nice and accommodating. she was able to explain everything clearly. Really nice place to stay. 👍

In addition to good accommodations, the location was just outside the walled old town. The town center was about a 2.5 one way walk. It was a plus being able to close the bedroom doors to separate the bedroom from the living room and kitchen. There is a grocery store just outside the hotel fence. About the old town: The economy in the city seemed to be a bit depressed with a number of storefronts closed permanently. While we took a break at the public park across the street from the police station, we observed several drug deals taking place. We made a personal decision not to be out after dusk. And an FYI, there is a free mini bus that will pick you up near the Thiers entrance outside the wall and take you as far as Place Pie in city center.

This place is a steal! Very reasonably priced, immediately outside the walled city. Right next to a (nice) grocery store. It was the only room fridge we had in France that worked! It has cheap laundry facilities on site. Small kitchenette. Secure building and parking. It feels like a dorm but we loved that.

Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht auf die Altstadt mit dem Papstpalast. Der Rezeptionist war Mega nett und sprach sehr gut deutsch ( ist in Frankreich ja sehr selten 😂 und soviel ich mitbekommen habe auch noch englisch, italienisch und spanisch). Das Frühstück ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Für Hotelgäste gibt es eine Tiefgarage. Wir hatten unseren Hund dabei. Da gab es überhaupt keine Probleme, tatsächlich sehr hundefreundlich 🐶Wir konnten sie sogar mit zum Frühstück nehmen, da gibt es im Vorraum extra separate Tische. 💪 und zum Gassi gehen musste man nur über die andere Straßenseite gehen, da ist ein wunderschöner Rasenstreifen entlang der alten Stadtmauer. Wir würden hier sofort wieder buchen!
