"I don’t really like dealing with property managers as I feel it takes the intimacy out of the booking process but the place really was a perfect complement of the natural landscapes. You can feel the history. You are in someones backyard which is kind of off putting but overall an excellent choice for travelers."

"The cabin was cozy and clean! It was the perfect size for our long weekend. Great location, close to everything we did in town. The only downside was the only heat source was a small space heater, but luckily it wasn’t too cold while we were there, we really only needed heat when we were done rafting and were cold and wet from those conditions. "My crew of 14 stayed at this home for a week while they did forestry work. Although we had some minor issues at the end of our stay, Joel was very understanding, and communicative of his ideas. "We enjoyed hanging out by the fire pit area and watching the sunset our first night there. Our cabin was very comfy even though it was quite warm. We took day trips to Crawford State Park and Paonia State Reservoir where we enjoyed a little SUP time. Verizon cell service doesn’t pick up signal from Carbondale down or Crested Butte so be sure to get directions or send messages far out.
