"Overall, great low cost / value for money option. Apartments are on the side of a steep hill over looking Bodrum… amazing views. The villa (2 bed) is separate from the other apartments and at the very top of the property - once you’ve got up the hill there’s another 104 steps to the villa. Just one bathroom in the villa while the 2 bed apts have two bathrooms. The pool area is quite small with just 8 sun loungers - fine for a morning or an afternoon dip and while we were there (early August)...

"We were really disappointed with this property, firstly there are no instructions how to get to the villa and it isn’t easy to find. When you get there the only way to the villa is up and down 87 uneven stairs, this is not advertised. The villa is in need of a lot of maintenance, the electrics are dangerous with cables hanging out of the switchboard, the showers are rusty and broken Hot tub was filthy and after we cleaned it found out it didn’t work. "Die Freundlichkeit des personals, angefangen von manager bis hin zum täglichen personal, alle waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ganz besonders hat uns die junge Meryem, von Gast service gefallen. Sehr hilfsbereit and erfrischend!! Das Essen, war ebenso sehr vielfältig und gut. Wir waren rundum sehr zufrieden und werden es weiter empfehlen. "

"We had a great time at Rixos Bodrum with our 3 year old son. Best bits: The beach was perfect for us. Beautiful water, calm, sandy, backing on to natural olive and palm trees. The rooms were large and comfortable and had everything needed. The place generally had quite a premium feel. Service was good, staff go out of their way to help you. Holiday assistant is a good concept and Yelda and Berkan were always there to help us with any requests. Everything else was really good too, except for a few points that could have been better… We were attracted to the hotel’s natural setting and were disappointed by the road noise you could hear from the balcony on the room. They did try their best to move us to another room further from the road but none were suitable as either had no view or were in very busy part of the hotel next to the lobby. Ultimately we put up with the road noise. Most of the a la carte restaurants were expensive addons. We knew this so can’t complain but do think it is something they should address by offering lower rates or perhaps a limited number of visits with no charge. "
