"Really great arrival and welcome from the property manager who patiently dealt with our inability to speak French and managed to give us a detailed tour. Incredibly friendly owner who had a genuine interest in our safety and enjoyment…and as for the property…wow! Amazing! A bargain and it feels a lot bigger than in the photographs when you’re actually there which was perfect for our big family of 12!"

"The view from the villa is amazing. Watching the sun rise over the hills and water is the perfect way to start a day. The villa has all amenities you require and the host responds quickly to any requests. There is ample parking for several cars and they are secured by a gate. It is possible to walk to the centre but it is a long and hilly walk. Good for keeping fit. Not overlooked by any other properties you can enjoy the poolside area without concerns. "Fantastic peoperty for up to 8 people. Spotlessly clean and filled with lovely art pieces and tasteful decoration. So many different types of crockery, games and amenities including essential air con. The pool was perfect for the hot weather and was well maintained. We also enjoyed the adjacent outside kitchen and fridge for food and drinks. Views were stunning and the whole site felt very safe. Our hosts were next door but were in no way obtrusive. They respected we were on holiday and left us...

"A lovely villa. Clean, comfortable and friendly check in. Very well equipped kitchen. The view is breathtaking. Take a laptop if you want to watch something that needs downloading. Very dog friendly with fenced garden. Everything is provided, extra blankets, ping pong, bicycles, dads, loo rolls, washing up liquid, really all you could want. We had two 20 year olds with us and they really enjoyed the boat daytrip we organised and the local market. Recommended."

"We had a lovely weeklong stay at this home in Gassin, which was even more charming in person. We spent much of our time outdoors, enjoying the pool and surrounding areas. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, the A/C was great for some pretty steamy days, and the kitchen was very well stocked for the large dinners we cooked there and on the outdoor grill. Vincent was quick to respond to any questions we had. We'd love to come back another time!"

"The villa was very clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We have stayed in Sainte Maxine a number of times, and although the location doesnt have a view like other properties we have rented, it is quiet yet close to the town and beach, but be prepared for a steep walk back. Throughly enjoyed our stay."

"The location was perfect. It was less than a 5 min walk into town, where you could find plenty of shopping and restaurants. If you wanted to go to Saint Tropez, it was a short walk to the shuttle boat that ran frequently. We spent a lot of our time at the house as the view and lounging by the pool really couldn’t be beat. "Good location, very nice pool, and host, who lives on site, has very good English and is more than happy to assist. Property itself suffered a number of faults whilst we were there however. Village has bar, restaurant and shop and more facilities are in next village 4 km away. Good base to explore the Var region and less than 1.5 hours from Nice."

"My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with the location. Right on the beach and a quick drive/15 min walk into town. The only negative would be the lack of WiFi, but it’s perfect if you’re looking to unplug! Our hosts were excellent too. Would definitely stay here again."
