We came into town for our niece’s wedding. The house is in a cute neighborhood only blocks away from the wedding venue. My two adult daughters loved the basement so they visit without parents and aunts. It was comfortable and relaxing
My family loves to visit Silverwood every year in the summer and we have found that staying in a house is a lot easier than renting multiple hotel rooms. The house is older, but cute in its decor. It’s clean and well furnished with all kitchen necessities. The neighborhood was quiet, and very close to shopping and amenities. Some things of note, if you have any mobility issues the stairs to the two bedrooms in the basement can be tricky to navigate as they are tall and narrow. There is appropriate hand rails for getting up and down the stairs. The house is older therefore you can hear everything… so privacy isn’t as readily available even if you retreat back to a bedroom. These things were not a deal breaker for us, and we would happily stay again, I just feel they are worth noting to other people considering to stay.
We had the best time and this place was so cute and a perfect home base for us! Close enough to walk into town and had a very nice front yard my dog loved! The internet has was strong enough for zoom calls. Thanks for a great vacation!
we had to have the police called due to the neighbor screaming at us for parking in our driveway, calling us names, using profanity in front of a 6 and 7 year olds but that was just to beginning. The garbage was overflowing, there were cherry pits all over the deck that we had to clean. There was mouse poop in the cabinets as well as crumbs/ dirt, the cabinet under the sink was broken, the sink drain in the bathroom was clogged and the BBQ was locked in the shed.
Let me know your thoughts.

House was fine. TV does not show basic channels. Two bedrooms downstairs were not obvious or marked. Back yard cherry tree very messy and deck was full of cherries that we’re getting tracked into the house. Mid way through our stay work was taking place in the backyard and we weren’t told or warned.
The house had everything we needed and was in a great location. The air conditioner stopped working halfway through our 6 day stay. I contacted the host and he advised that the air conditioner just got too cold, froze up and to let it thaw. We attempted this multiple times through the remainder of our three days and it froze within minutes of being turned on and we were unable to use it. The high temperature those days was 91°. The host did not respond to messages after the initial call.
