"Beautiful property and room! The pools are plentiful and never felt crowded—we saw a monkey! Treat yourself to an evening sunset by the lobby bar—breathtaking! The beach is ona beautiful cove. My kids enjoyed the rocky areas for “tidepooling” for hermit crabs, fish, etc. There is a nice reef right off the beach where daily snorkeling activities are available. We saw a puffer fish, some colorful tropical fish and a spotted ray. Note the beach is public, but the locals are friendly and not loud. There are no loungers down close to the ocean (a little higher up on the sand close to the property, but not many people sat there). It was a tad of an annoyance to see 9 jet skis in the cove almost everyday. They are for rental. My family did enjoy them one day, however, 2 or three would suffice. 9 surely took away from the tropical island feel and I looked forward to each evening when they disappeared. The room was luxurious and had everything you needed. We did purchase a 2 queens room with a small plunge pool—in hindsight sight we did not use it much and we noticed these pools were only on the first floors (preventing a better view). It did seem like there were only a few larger suites with a corner pool on the upper floors of buildings). The dining was pretty good. The breakfast spread at TicoTica was great and unexpected. We enjoyed Peacock Alley to watch the World Cup USA game—a great vibe. Kids enjoyed the pool with the slide and the teen room was cool. Pura Vida!"

"This was a great house for our large group. Top of the list of positives is Marisol, the wonderful, kind, helpful house keeper. The outdoor space is incredible and the pool was great. The house is spacious and very well kept. We struggled to figure out some of the lights and fans because the house is fairly high tech, but once we figured them all out, we could make each room very comfortable for everyone. The large garage worked great for the two golf carts we rented for the week. The only downside was that the ovens were not working when we were there, but there were other options for cooking and we had more than we needed for the week. The location of this house was perfect, other than the very loud early mornings with the rooster next door."

"Amazing house and host. 10/10 experience. Pictures don’t do this estate justice! The views and neighborhood are incredible, especially coming from flat Florida. Recommendation for future guests: 1.) leave the house lights off at night, Costa Rica has a ton of bugs and bees that love light Thanks team!"

"Ilya was absolutely THE BEST host ever. He provided many great suggestions and was always available for questions. The property was fully equipped with anything you can imagine! Great size, wonderful air conditioning with the most amazing views! The walk to the beach is under 10 minutes, however with all the pool options you don't even need to leave the property! Highly recommend anyone to stay at Illya's property. Thanks Ilya!"
